figured some art of Orahov was long overdue! A serious old man with a sword and a passion for horticulture... He mostly focuses on trees  - walnuts, almonds, olives, and cacao! If an unexpected visitor gets too close to his trees..that’s when the sword comes out.

i felt like giving some love to some middle-aged/older couples in my lair, in gijinka form :D

They’re all labeled but in the top we have Tamarind, Orahov, Psoron, and Gator who are poly and dating each other!

Then we have Zaffre and Kyurem, Honeoye and Foley, and Herkimer and Pirouline!

i don’t draw humans too often and struggle with anatomy and these are just sketches but i think i’m happy with them haha

Pashmak, Orahov, Gila? (Hope it's fine if I send another one)

Pashmak! His primary is cottoncandy, so I looked up words relating to cottoncandy, and found pashmak, which is an Iranian desert that is similar to cottoncandy! in this picture it looks like it could be a bowl of his fur haha. i just wanted a sweet name for this sweet boy C:

Orahov! He looks like a tree, so I figured I should name him after a tree! I ended up looking into walnut trees and found Orahov, which according to wikipedia meant Walnut in Bosnian, and looking further now..apparently it’s Serbian too, which I’m guessing you are aware of omg. It looks like it can mean nuts in general too? Which would be fitting for him since he grows various nut trees, but I’m not actually sure if the word means that sdafads if you have more insight i would definitely be interested to hear from an actual person !

I also like that Orahov sounds like olive, and he grows olive trees too as a result c:

And Gila! She had the name already when I bought her, but I can say with pretty much total certainty that her previous owner named her after Gila monsters! Coal poison/toxin matches Gila monsters’ patterning very closely, so it’s perfect!

Florabrisa Pizza Party

Something I've put way too much thought in haha. One of the more unique goods in my lair is... Pizza!!

Thanks to Siciliane the pizza snapper, who I purchased from @mistyhollow-agent loooong ago...

He often works alongside my baker random progen Moraine in my lair's kitchen! Most dragons in the lair love to have his pizzas, which I feel like are a pretty rare food in Sornieth. He makes them with lots of love and care!

But the pizzas don't just appear from thin air. He gets his ingredients fresh from various dragons in my lair!

Durum grows wheat! She's very low-key and humble yet she has such an enormous role in my lair's diet omg. Baked goods are a huge staple in Florabrisa and it wouldn't be possible without her crops! Durum is always happy to share her wheat for pizza, pasta, pies, whatever the bakers are making!

I'm gonna be honest I don't know much about obtaining yeast naturally but this guy works with alcohol all day and I think yeast is a byproduct of brewing beer so crack open some cold ones with Gelibol and get your yeast!

And here's Kaydeross! She's the dairy farmer and makes cheese from the milk of... whatever the Sornieth version of cows would be! And probably goats too! And probably other things lets not worry about that

So there we got your essentials for the crust....but what do you want on the pizza :o?!

Marglobe here grows tomatoes! He only shares them with loved ones but...the whole lair qualifies as that for him so Siciliane def has clearance to make some sauce!

But if you don't like sauce, you can have white pizza, perhaps with broccoli grown by Calabasas! She also offers spinach c:

And Orahov's got olives for you! olives are my fave ok I gotta mention em He takes very good care of his olive trees!

Florabrisa however is pretty lacking in the meat department (you do NOT eat Kaydeross's livestock!) But some of the clan's strong carnivores such as Acantha do go out hunting to meet their nutrional needs! Otherwise the carnivores just gotta deal with eating 90% plant products Can't promise pepperoni but I think sausage is very possible!

And now we have Zaffre, the clan's biggest fisher! Everyone loves anchovy pizza ;0 I've never had it but its obligatory to mention fjfk

And last but very likely least....... Colada grows some pineapple!! Heck yeah I've also never had Hawaiian pizza but I really want to some day omg

Also I can't upload any more images but..... I bet the faes totally will top their pizzas with bugs fkfkdkg

Anyway omg I felt like writing this up and I'm on mobile so I can't do a read more but hope you enjoyed a peek into my lair's cuisine!! I'm not gonna make a long post about Ricotta's pasta ingredients, they were pretty much covered here anyway haha

(Oh shoot I forgot to mention herbs and basil and stuff but I have dragons for that too! Tarragon Elder and Millisievert are the biggest for it but there are herbs EVERYWHERE in my lair's gardens, you don't gotta look far haha.)

I think...these four might be a poly couple now.

I'd paired Gator and Orahov a little while ago after deciding they looked good next to each other in my lair and then more recently considered adding Psoron to the relationship but didn't have anything officially worked out.

But today I was looking at Psoron and was like "man his colors resemble my guardian Tamarind's a lot. Breeding pair? Wait they can't breed :/ oh I could totally still pair them though. But What about Psoron's relationship with Gator and Orahov hmm...........the more the merrier?"

Tamarind's love life is supposed to have been rather disastrous, having had quite a few failed relationships and at least one divorce but that doesn't mean I have to keep him single... actually I think its kind of cute if like it turned out the problem was he wasn't fulfilled with monogamous relationships so now he's realized he's poly and things are clicking better for him? Hmmmm

thank you so much for the ask! excited to talk about these old boys. i tried answering it earlier but unfortunately lost everything i’d written just before i was ready to post :C but here’s...take 2! back n better than ever

6. Any tasks that are always left to one person?Let's see... I think Gator's the best cook by a large margin, so it's pretty much always him doing it for the other three! (Though the lair has a kitchen that puts out food for everyone so it's not like they solely rely on Gator by any means. It's more like a special treat!) Though they do all live in separate rooms (in fact Gator lives in a separate area from the other three) so I'd say they're all generally self-reliant? Unless they have to move something really big and heavy. You're gonna want a Guardian for that haha. And I'd say Psoron's usually the 'coordinator', like the one who will plan ahead what they may be doing on a given day and make sure everyone's in agreement.

23. How do they hug? Kiss? Tease? Flirt? Comfort?

Giant cuddle pile........ And Tamarind is so big that he can easily wrap around the other three omg..big Guardian hug. I'm not sure how much dragons kiss (i mean Gator's head is bigger than Psoron and Orahov's combined sdasfd) but I'm sure there's plenty of nuzzling, and paw-holding! Or entangling their tails even haha... They probably tease each other by calling the other's old men haha... and Psoron gets to say the others are smelly nature dragons (As if he doesn't have weird green mist coming out of his eyes.......) And I imagine sometimes, like say Gator will be snuggling Orahov, and Psoron will come out of nowhere and be like 'actually it’s my turn' and boot poor Orahov out of the way haha

39. Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed who first?  When did they realize they were in love?

The four of them didn't know each other before coming to Florabrisa, but Gator, Orahov, and Psoron all moved in around the same time and gradually became pretty close friends! Gator and Orahov in particular found themselves increasingly platonically affectionate before thinking maybe it wasn't so platonic after all... Gator ended up being the first to actually make a move though! And thus those two began dating. Psoron saw them and was like 'haha my best friends...they're so cute...i want that...maybe one day I'll find the right guy for me!' and he was kind of oblivious to the fact Gator and Orahov were getting more openly affectionate with him too, until the two decided to just ask him to join them, and Psoron was a little blindsided but couldn't be happier!

They remained a triad for years, but at some point Tamarind started getting closer to them - particularly Psoron since he calls himself the clan matchmaker and Tamarind was desperate a hopeless romantic... Tamarind eventually decided to just ask the trio if he could join them, and they were happy to welcome him in to the polycule! Tamarind still isn't anywhere near as close to the other three as they are with each other, but he's finding polyamory feels more fulfilling to his needs than all his previous monogamous relationships had.

40. Any special memories? Do they have a special place they like to go to?

I've been getting this question a lot and omg I never have anything ready to go dfadgd let's see. Pre-Tamarind memory: Gator used to be a nude dragon...but Psoron and Orahov got together to get him his beautiful swamp witch outfit! Orahov came up with the basic idea and Psoron gathered the fabric and they both worked with clan seamtress Sugarpaws to make it look just right and also be Gator-sized c: Gator was so happy with the gift and all the thought they'd put into it for him! (the tigerlilies were Gator's own touch though!)

And after Tamarind joined them... Tamarind made a special tiny garden plot where he planted all their favorite flowers to symbolize their new relationship together! they all loved it so much and like to stop by it on occasion! that's their special place too c:

Though also... Tamarind is one of the clan's leaders. he surely has special secret access areas that the general population of the clan isn't supposed to go into. i mean..Florabrisa isn't really a clan of secrets at all but there's definitely some closed off spaces for various reasons...and Tamarind know's the best ones to secretly hang out in >:D (and which ones to avoid. i imagine a lot of closed off areas are purely for safety reasons dafds)
