Puzzlebox Orbit
Puzzlebox has been creating brain controlled helicopters for a few years now. The beauty of this thing is that it’s all open source, from the hardware to the software. Now the fun part, making the orbit fly simply with your thoughts. Of course it probably won’t go left or right just by thinking it. I’m sure you have to train your brain to spit out a specific brainwave to make it go right and then know that that signal moving forward would be right and then so on for left, forward, up down, and back. Still it’s a wonderful idea and to be perfectly honest I wish they would make a very inexpensive brain mouse for gaming. Even Elijah Wood said it best in Back to the Future 2 “You mean you have to use your hands? That’s like a baby’s toy!”
Pricing on their Kickstarter to get one of these brainy orbits start at $149.00 for the orbit helicopter and the EEG headset. Estimated delivery times is set at around December 2012.
