Funny? Try harder next time [Hayate + Himiko]
Admittedly, Himiko hadn't really talked much with her supposed dance partner before Cal-Dumb announced a new motive. It wasn't even his fault - she was the one who came late to the party, after all. Himiko wasn't even that much of a latecomer, but this time around, she had simply overslept. She wanted to take a quick nap, but it took far much longer than intended and than she had to get quickly dressed for the occasion which prompted her to tell Hayate to go on without her. The voice imitator didn't want him to wait for god knows how long and bore himself out to death while he could enjoy himself on the party.
Putting her ballgown and make-up on didn't take that long, but her hair was something else. Combing it to its usual silkiness took a bit and then she tried to give a different hairstyle a shot at first, but unfortunately, no matter how many times she tried, it didn't go as she wanted. After the fifth attempt, Himiko just kindly screwed over it and opted to let her hair roam freely. Of course, she could have gone for her usual braid, but Himiko wanted a bit of change once in a while.
When she was finally done with everything, Himiko had hurried to the ball room and searched for her partner, though she also looked at the others. They all looked really fancy - safe for that one newcomer who didn't even bother to wear the suit he had most likely received. Oh well, whatever floats your boat, correct?
The black-haired girl had just found Hayate when the motive had been announced. Himiko had merely rolled her eyes - killing for the money, huh? Someone would surely take this opportunity to try and grasp this prize at the expense of everyone else... What a sad thought, but Himiko wasn't one to fool herself with blind optimism. Sure, she wanted to believe in her comrades, but the first murder already showed him that people here were capable of gruesome crimes.
"/Yeah, yeah, blubb blubb, we heard you, goodbye/", Himiko directed her words at the AI with George's voice, before she shook her head and walked over to Hayate.
Gazing upon the voice imitator, one would notice that her hair was open now - the sunglasses nowhere near in sight and a single pink feather attached right behind her ear - and a knee-length, black dress. A delicate feather ornament adorned it at the end of the garment, only the outlines being filled with soft colors. Said dress covered her whole left arm with a sleeve that went broad at the end whilst the other arm was spared with any kind of fabric. Additionally to the sleeve, Himiko also seemed to wear a fingerless glove on her left hand and judging that one wasn't able to see her naked arm underneath it when she lifted her hand, it seemingly reached to her upper arm. Other than that, Himiko also wore a necklace with pink feathers attached to it.
Her black high heels stopped giving the typical clack sound one would hear if someone would walk with these kind of shoes around as soon as she stopped moving and gave the businessman an apogoletic smile.
"Sorry that I'm so late, I never intended to nap that long... Well, let's just make the best out of it, alright?"
Seems like someone was graciously ignoring the motive now.
