Tetrachloroethylene prices higher in Mumbai
An increase in tetrachloroethylene prices has been noted in Mumbai today. A growing demand contributed to the price rise. The current price of tetrachloroethylene (imported intact) in Mumbai is Rs.175/Kg, an increase of Rs.5/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.170/Kg.
Acetonitrile prices plunge in Kolkata
A sharp fall in acetonitrile prices in the imported market of Kolkata was recorded today. Weak regional demand coupled with excess supply led to the price fall. Petrochem sources confirmed that acetonitrile prices would, however, maintain a balanced trend within the next few days. On November 2, 2022, acetonitrile prices in Kolkata went down from Rs.205/Kg to Rs.200/Kg, a slip of Rs.5/Kg.
Rhodium at high rates in Mumbai
An increase in rhodium prices has been noted in Mumbai today. A growing demand contributed to the price rise. The current price of rhodium in Mumbai is at Rs.41810.25/gm, an increase of Rs.199.23/gm, from the previous price of Rs.41611.02/gm.
Carbon black prices rise in Delhi
Carbon black grade N220prices have registered a rise in Delhi today. On October 28, 2022, prices for the material were at Rs.149/Kg, which is Re.1/Kg higher than the previous assessed price of Rs.150/Kg. Delhi recorded a rise in carbon black grade N236 prices today. On October 28, 2022 prices went up from Rs.152/Kg to Rs.153/Kg, an increase of Re.1/Kg. Prices of carbon black grade N550 have increased by Re.1/Kg in the Delhi market. Three days back prices were at Rs.146/kg whereas today prices were assessed at Rs.147/Kg.
Ahmedabad sees a cut in ferro silicon prices
Petrochem sources reported a significant fall in ferro silicon prices in the Ahmedabad metal market. It is confirmed that ferro silicon prices fell due to delicate regional demand. With effect from October 28, 2022, ferro silicon prices in Ahmedabad decreased by Re.1/Kg. The new introductory basic price is Rs.141/Kg.
Robust demand lifts copper scrap prices in Delhi
An elevated demand trend is noticed in bright copper prices in the Delhi market. On October 28, 2022, bright copper prices in Delhi were assessed at Rs.670/Kg, a rise of Rs.3/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.667/Kg.

With effect from October 22, 2022, PTA domestic intact prices in Mumbai decreased by Rs.3/Kg. The new introductory basic price is Rs.84/Kg.
