I feel you on the "surrounded by fire front" I live in central Cali and it's looking pretty Doomsday-ish. I appreciate you and the work you put into the fics we get to enjoy. Stay safe :)

My monkey brain keeps looking out at the smoke going ‘run now from fire’ but I know logistically I’m fine—I’m about a suburb, two freeways and a big ass river from the main fire in the southeast, and same on the west, and the north. So I’m fine. But planning to evacuate my precious baby catsons along with 9 snakes, 9 tarantulas, 3 frogs, 1 tortoise and 1 chameleon has ya dude here in a tizzy for sure. Never too late to have your emergency planning, folks.

My home is one of the many threatend by the Oregon fires. We’re on a level one and everyone is..frankly terrified. All it would take is some unfavorable wind.

And I’m not fishing for sympathy, or trying to get followers with this I just want everyone whos in the same situation as me, or worse, to know your not alone. This is scary and terrible and jesus do I want this all to be over and Oregon to be its normal green self. But your not alone. And when this is all over we will come together. Even if our government or the federal govt doesn’t. We will help as much as we can.

Stay safe, drink plenty of water for the smoke, and help others when you can.

The thought of possibly having to leave YEARS of drawings and sketches to burn is making me sad and is giving me a mild panic attack... 😟

The air is thick with smoke

There are fires to the north, fires to the south, fires both east and west. My beautiful home is burning all around and I'm breathing in the destruction.
