didn’t have anything planned for Valentine’s Day .w.;;;;;;;;;;
kind of busy doing these but I think that’s okay I didn’t do anything for v-day. just focusing on my art makes me happy uvu

I did do something for v-day but that was at my nsfw blog buuuuuuuuuuuut
you all know what I mean ovo;;;;;;
anyway! I have been wanting to redraw these two, specifically, because
they were overdue for a new ref but I just haven’t had the motivation to actually do it. finally, I manage to get around to do them and I’m EXTREMELY HAPPY with how they both turned out ;w;
Orelia needed a revamp. only because I am basing her outfit off of Gaige’s from Borderlands. and it still applies! with Gaige’s new threads in Borderlands 3, the same thing with Orelia and even giving her the spiked bits on her left arm only. decided to also give her a sleeved shirt but her right one is rolled up while her left one is torn off just to show off her prosthetic arm
GALINA. oh gosh, Galina (right image). I have been wanting to redo her for the LONGEST and it’s only because her current ref, her waist is very, VERY narrow. I don’t know what I was doing when I drew that but I have been wanting to redo her and it’s all because I started being very self conscious about how I draw waists from the few judgements of my characters and some comments about how small their waists are like they’re wearing a corset. I know I shouldn’t take it seriously, and it’s their character speaking and not the person that created them, but... it pretty much got in my head and Galina is a perfect example of just “I don’t know what I was thinking” when I drew it and now THIS. I’m happy to finally get it over with and it turned out better than I have thought. SHE HAS A WAIST! HER ORGANS AREN’T BEING SMUSHED ;w;
