Deidara!

Who I pair them with: Sasori.

Who I hate them with: I don’t really hate him being with anyone, but I just don’t believe in HidaDei.

Why I like/hate them: A like for him being handsome and his explosive personality (see what I did there). If there was anything to hate it would be his treatment in later stages of the manga.

Favourite physical feature: Can’t choose between his hair and eyes. I’ll go for the eyes.

Least favourite quality in the character: He could do with a little more analytical insight.

3 Headcanon’s: 1. Deidara is Oonoki (Tsuchikage)’s grandson and thus Kurotsuchi’s brother, which is why she calls him Deidara-nii. He was always inferior to his sister and received frequent scolding over his sloth in regard to ninjutsu and training, obviously having a lot of latent potential. 2. He once saw the Iwa blast corpse in action during their training as he accompanied the Tsuchikage and fell in love with explosions. However, the indiscriminate style used by the corpse pissed him off and so he eventually began to feel that no one understood his artistic ways and began to distance himself from everyone. He eventually raided the base and stole the kinjutsu that granted him the blast release and his body alterations. 3. He had heard tales of the most gifted Puppeteer in Suna; Sasori of the red sand and vowed to defeat him one day. However, as they met in Akatsuki, he secretly fell in love with him and his art. His pride unabling him to let go, he instead vowed to change Sasori’s ways.
