AWWWWWWWWWW!

Apparantly the official Oreshika twitter page held a fanart contest shortly after the (never-dubbed) first game came out! Its really sweet to see how many people drew their own family from their playthrough! I wish we could have actually had scenes of the godly parents being affectionate to their kids like this.

I kinda teared up at the bottom one! Yaidzu is such a nice guy from the few one sentence lines he gets whenever you pick him, i’m sure he would be a really good dad. Though I still don’t know why he’s a fire type when all his dialogue is about liking fishing and boats??? One good side effect of the game giving very little screentime to the gods: it makes me wanna look up the original myths and learn more! I kinda wish the dubbed version had added some sort of compendium of descriptions for them like how the Persona series does, it would have made it a bit more easy to understand for audiences in other countries.
