wanted to make a fake promo poster as a treat for myself after pushing through two back-to-back deadlines and maybe try to gently manifest something; ended up too unhappy with it to go through with doing it painty / totally finished-y so here’s as far as i got. istg i’ll draw some actual canon characters at some point, these two are just ...... comfort OC s .........

SHOCKING: Local Goose Says They’re Going To Post More And Then Doesn’t!

So the plan is to try to make a vis dev portfolio project out of CrossFaction, of some sort. Part of this will include making narrative illustrations along with character sheets, all that fun stuff. this is the first one of what I hope will be many??? we’ll see. Scoping out a bounty at what seems to be a faction-neutral establishment~

Oh look it’s me, back to terrorize the Wildstar tag once again!!!! I recently discovered Lake Street Dive, and their song Same Old News set off the CrossFaction alarm and I had to draw this to shut it off, sorry that’s just protocol

I’ve been remiss in getting art thrown onto tumblr so there might be a few more posts from me in the next few days; I’m the most active on Twitter right now! (beware possible Arcane spoilers, it’s kind of the only thing I think about lately LOL)

Got a bee in my bonnet to make a fake Tales From Beyond the Fringe cover a while back and finally got around to finishing it! It’s not quite as, um, interesting and dynamic as the real covers, but EHHHHH. take my garbage TAKE IT

was gonna upload this with a lil blurb to accompany like the ones in game but i can’t think of a scene to write abt yet. maybe later on! Stay tuned ...........

well, while everything’s going to hell anyway. guess ill jump on this lore-flouting bandwagon too

despite what i said before these two have actually been a thing for a very long time. i kept it on the downlow because idk. afraid of opinions on it, but at this point......... whats the point of worrying lol

if i had all the time in the world to do what i want to do....... id do so much with their story. writing it out doesn’t feel sufficient but it’s about all i’d ever realistically have time for. im so frustrated. i wish id used the time i had better. i wish things werent ending.

Some years before in-game present day, Orfreya was given a mission to infiltrate the arkship that Majro had been stationed to, upon which intelligence pointed to many Dominion citizens being held aboard. She was to figure out if they were defectors, or legit being held captive, and respond accordingly. She got herself “captured” and in the process, met Majro and his Gunhammers.

blah blah they get to talking more and more after she pretends to defect to get more info and they discover that they are actually incredibly compatible like maybe soulmates???? but Her Mission!!!!! she asks him to disappear with her, leave everything behind. He’s like “nah why would we do that everything’s peachy” and she’s like “wooooow” and then gets herself extracted by the Dominion to complete her mission, which gets all of Majro’s mercfriends killed in the process. All except Troxog, anyway.

majro cant decide if he still loves her or hates her. (it’s more the former than the latter, unfortunately, because he’s an idiot)

the middle pic is part of how i pictured their story to end. they reconcile one last time and then part ways, because theres no way its gonna work out with the whole War thing going on. not to mention just. too much baggage.

(.... and then they both mutually decide that wasnt good enough and agree to spend one day as beloveds on some faction-neutral resort satellte or something and THEN its’ really over ROFL)

Decided to get a commish of some What-If shenanigans (or IS IT?????) because waaaaay way back in the day when I was starting out in WS and started playing Majro more, my mind immediately went to “.... but what if they were a thing” because height difference pairings are my ultimate weakness forever and oh the D R A M A. Their stories have changed enough that it could likely never really work out but. BUT they still look cute together so.
