“That depends. Are you a Capricorn?”
If she’s a Capricorn, it’s definitely that.

“ You’re certainly...different. ” But why? What is it? This woman is no ghost or spirit, she is of the flesh, breathing and alive. She is really very true and truly very real. And yet there is something about her that does not seem to belong, like a key forced into the wrong hole. Or perhaps Sumi, in her quiet and intrigued excitement, is getting carried away. A question hangs, limp but desperate, on Sumi’s tongue, although she dares not ask it; Who Are You? “ But that’s okay; I like different. ”

The parking lot is empty, save for the two of them and a single flickering streetlamp. It dots their shadows across the pavement in camera flashes, spelling out something in morse code that Eddie could never hope to understand.
If this was how the universe had chosen to send him its warning, it would be falling on deaf ears.
Eddie looks up at Bobby through the fan of his lashes, and Eddie’s new Captain places his hand on Eddie’s cheek, gentle and kind despite the dry, rough texture of his palm. Warm and inviting despite these sordid circumstances.
12 & 23.
12. is there ever been a time when you’ve had to drop a roleplaying partner because you’ve found their writing style exhausting?
...yes. as much as it pains me to say it because i hate sounding like a snob, but sometimes people’s writing styles just dont mix. it’s pretty rare for me since i try to match the style of whoever im working with, but it happens.
23. does the total amount of threads you have going on matter to you, or just how many you owe?
just whatever i owe! thats all i can really keep track of in my mind, so if i dont owe it and you reply im probably like “oh fuck yea another! :D”

rp habits. / @organyx
1. what’s a grammar rule you find yourself breaking or ignoring a lot?
the me of a few years ago would fucking hate me right now tbf, i’ve become such a lazy bitch with grammar. i dont use capitals ever in my rp replies and i like to claim it looks better that way or that i just like it but let’s be real, im just fucking lazy. i constantly use random punctuation that probably doesn’t even belong there, big fan of using a ton of ‘---’s and they’re all probably out of place and WHO GIVES A FUCK. grammar has no place here.
7. are you a morning, day, evening, or night writer?
im a ‘whenever i have the time’ writer generally,,, my work days leave me absolutely no morning or afternoon time so usually if i have a scrap of energy on an evening / night, that’s when i have to squeeze in some writing. on weekends or weeks off like right now, i’m so in the habit of evening-writing that i tend to not get much done early anyway.
11. when you are writing a reply, how much ahead in the thread do you plan?
oof, fuck. it depends how plotted the thread is i guess? like, u can’t always guarantee what a writing partner’s gonna do if it’s not plotted so really i just tend to shrug and make sure i leave plenty for them to work with in their reply. i more,,, try to leave it open for shit to happen?? bc if i get too caught up in planning ahead, i forget to enjoy the right now of it all and that sucks. also im a messy bitch and idk how to stick to plans.
17. what is your biggest obstacle to writing every day, if time doesn’t count?
uhhhhhh. motivation, energy and crushing self-doubt. i like to call my bad days the ‘days my brain isn’t being kind to me’ and that translates to the days where i feel like if i try to write, im gonna judge every word and convince myself everyone hates me and i just Know on those days, i gotta step back and not be here. so the trick is finding days where i feel good, have energy and am excited to write.

“i don’t think i like that saying.” idly spoken, almost nonchalant but for the brief tightening of his hands around hers. he’s insisted upon seeing to her wounds, apparently under another ‘lapse of memory’ about that thing where they’re on different sides of a godly war. he presses a strip of gauze into her skin. “i think it’s ‘what doesn’t kill you better start running.’”
