You know that neighbor—the one whose backyard looks like a magazine spread? They’ve got the perfect paver patio, the cozy pergola, the string lights that somehow never tangle. Well, after attending their BBQ last weekend, I came home and side-eyed our sad concrete slab like, Why can’t you be more like them?
I ended up on Coastal Paver Creations’ homepage (here), where they had this photo of a raised patio with built-in seating and a fire pit. No fancy furniture, just smart design making the space work. It got me thinking: maybe we don’t need a total overhaul. Maybe just reworking the layout with tiered levels or a circular fire pit area could transform it.
I’m not ready to admit defeat to my neighbor yet, but… okay, fine. They’ve inspired me. Time to make our yard ours.
