Recently I was asked to show my portfolio and while I was building it, I realized my work is a pile of stand alone drawings and paintings. That's nothing wrong with it (initially) but there's something I'm thinking about for quite some time and that just reinforced it. I want to make something from start to end, that I can look at it as a packet and make sense combined with other works. I wanna push myself and not only do a spare character here and there, but draw a character with purpose and inside a universe that relates to it. I have this desire since forever to build a universe based on Brazilian folklore and for me, the Saci is the coolest legend we have. That's the first fully rendered images and I hope I have the guts(and time) to do all the visual development of this.
