my osakita brain is still here thinking abt how proud kita is not just of his teammates up on that screen, but of the way those ladies call tsumu "just as handsome as osamu-chan" (ship goggles on: they've talked abt how handsome samu is to shinsuke before) and how they call osamu's rice balls delicious (this is the canon reading hahaha).

u can tell that furudate purposefully expanded this part from the og chapter to make sure we all know it isn't just the olympians kita's proud of, but osamu as well!!! tho it's most obvious in the leftmost panel, as all three of them are included behind kita when he says his old teammates are amazing. (poor sunarin, in the olympics but not in the shot LOL. it's okay, we know kita's proud of him too!!!)
