Perhaps unlike many others, Enkidu actually felt rather at home in this place. It was quite nice to see a city where animals were just as important as the people--or so it seemed, judging from what they had witnessed thus far.
Even so, their curious nature had gotten the better of them. Why had they been called away from Chaldea? What other force could bring them here? But it wasn’t all bad--though it did leave one to wonder just what was happening in their absence.
Though no matter what, they couldn’t help themselves, stopping to chat with a sheep and giving it a pat on the head for all its hard work. They did pause, however, upon glimpsing a familiar face. Blinking, Enkidu straightened, tilting their head to the side.
“Ah...Dr. Jekyll, was it? You’re here too?” They smiled, as if it probably wasn’t concerning for them to wake up in an unfamiliar place.
