this past one was actually really amazing. it was the first good birthday i’d had in two years and all my college friends and my other few best friends all got together to make it really special because they knew how horrible my last ones had been.

i’m really proud of my independence. my… growing independence. i’m getting a lot better at discovering who i am. i also stick to my beliefs and i don't cave in to peer pressure when it conflicts with them.

once upon a time, i went to the beach with my two best friends who i just happened to meet online. they had never met each other before, even though i had met them both. we spent three days together and you have no idea how much that meant to me.
