journal entry below the cut

where do i even begin? man, it's just been rough. i can barely even remember anything. i hate feeling this way: i wanted to take a bath since i feel so itchy and dirty, but it's way too late for that now. or maybe it's not, i'm not sure.

today i attended to some of my responsibilities. i got lucky since i didn't have to train today. it's good, i don't think i could've handled that. i asked god if he could please pull me out of this situation if i couldn't handle it, and i guess that was the response.

when i got home, i just knocked tf out. period cramps are no joke. i drank a pain killer and slept until late in the night. it was so painful, it was like i could've fainted. when i woke up, dinner was already cooked. we ate, and thankfully it wasn't too hard on our teeth, since the food was quite soft.

me and my ate (older sister in Filipino) got to talk again for the first time in a while after dinner, and we just hung out, which was nice. we talked a lot about tarot cards and such, which made me want to try getting into that, or buy a deck. it could be helpful to try something new. i've been feeling as if i've been losing control in my life, and that's been fucking me up. maybe i should try stuff i hadn't before, acquire new tools to cope or take care of myself ... or revisit old helpful habits or tools i hadn't been using. they say, if you want something to change, then you need to change something. nothing changes if nothing changes. i feel like i could've worded that better...

this hasn't been my first rodeo in life, where it's like everything is being destroyed to rebuild better. it's just confusing, since i'm not exactly sure what i was doing "wrong" or what i need to change. i still feel that sad ache in my chest. but right now, as i'm writing, listening to new music i hadn't to before, it does make me feel a little better. i know this will pass. and when i survive this, i think i'll come out of it having learned a lot more about myself. hopefully by then, i have had "improved" my life or developed my character more. this just ... needs to happen, i guess. maybe this "destruction" was inevitable. my foundation was never gonna hold up, so it might as well happen now.

there are bits about myself that i'd like to change, like i think i could be more responsible, with my duties and spending. i also really need to find ways to manage my memory issues. it's so difficult when it's like your memories are being blocked or even erased. forgetting items is also really expensive. but i don't know.
