I liked the book. It was interesting. There's not a lot of books I've read that have a variety of shifters. The book sucked me in. I was always finding myself turning the page to see what happens next. Desdemona or Dez was cool even though her name is a tongue twister (which I don't know why she has a nickname since no one ever really called her that). She always thought she was normal until one day changed that for her. I like that near the end of the book, she comes to terms on who/what she is. I still have a question about one part that wasn't really answered that makes her different from other shifters. To help her with everything was Caleb. He supposed to seem like a mystery but I didn't really think so. He's definitely different from normal boys. There was one moment that was supposed to be a surprise twist, but I figured it would be one of two things I was thinking. So not much of a surprise to me.  The only thing that I didn't like about the book was the insta-love. It's frustrating when so many authors do this. No one realistically falls in love with someone after a few weeks. Other than that, great book.

I thought this was alright. Dez and her friends can't get away from the Tribunal. An unlikely ally helps them to bring down a major plan the Tribunal was planning on executing. While there was plenty action, there was also plenty of drama. I was getting a little tired of Dez's self-righteousness. I could see a little bit of her side of things, but most of the time it was just plain irritating. The whole issue with her and Caleb too. Ugh. This is why I hate insta-love, because there is always insta-problems. It just seemed like the story wanted to revolve around that. Blech. Other than that, I thought the story wasn't too bad.

Dez thought she knew who her mother was, who she was. Thought she had friends, a boy who loved her, and a school where she finally fit in.

But across the veil linking our world and the next lurks a monster which can annihilate. . .or liberate her. Now she must confront it there with help from one boy who loves her and one who can't stand the sight of her. Dez thought she understood her tiger form, her deepest self. But in this treacherous place, she'll have to choose between the two halves of her soul--and determine which world survives.  Othersphere is the third and final installment in Nina Berry's acclaimed young adult Otherkin series, which blends romance, fantasy, and action in a powerful story of friendship and self-acceptance.

I thought it was alright. Most of the time it just seemed like the story revolved around boy troubles. Frustrating at times on how she handles things when it came to that. When it wasn't focusing on that, the story was good. I liked how the author described all of Othersphere and the creatures that lived there. The ending seemed rushed. All the action happened in the last bit of the story which was a bummer. Overall I thought the series was okay. I didn't hate it nor loved it.

突然ですがフランスのブレイクコアアーティストの一人、Ruby My Dear （通称ルビマ）について語ってみます

【まずは経歴から】 こちらのインタビューによると、南フランスのカオール出身で、Aphex Twin や Venetian Snares など、ブレイクコアではやはりと思わせるアーティストの影響で作曲を始め、当初はギターで作曲していました。 以前は Doc Colibri と言う名義（当人としては冗談の名前だったそう）でネットレーベル中心に発表していましたが、ブレイクコア名門Peaceoffからのリリースを期に現名義に改名。そこから今の躍進につながっているようです。

【音について】 グリッチを効かせたディジタリーな質感のリズムをベースに、時にやんちゃに、時に文化的で教養あるサンプルを用いた、上質なブレイクコアを展開しています。

グリッチを効かせた、と言うとIDM系ブレイクコアのようにも思えますが、この手の音にしては珍しくガバキック（やはり独特の質感）を使いこなしたり、ラガサンプルを使いこなしたりと、器用かつブレイクコアらしい面を見せます。

ライブについてはあまり派手な感じではありません。 風貌や音作りの丁寧さを鑑みると、どちらかと言うとベッドルームで音の追求をしてきた、音オタクの兄ちゃんと言う印象を受けました。 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=795rhYpXJ-M 【動向など】 現名義デビューの2010-11年は立て続けにリリース、その反動か2012年は静かでしたが、2013年に入ってから再び動きが活発化しています。 まず別名義 Digital Velvet  が始動し、そして自身のネットレーベル Blue Sub Records が始動、と畳み掛けてきており、今後に大変期待できる動きを見せています。
