The Aspects of the Ancients

Lamont: Pawn, I will need you to take the fall in your fight against Thomas. Pawn: You have business with August for me to attend to? Lamont: Yes. There are two corpses filed away down there in preparation for te Ceremony. I will give you the knowledge of the neophyte for Logan and the care of a disciple for Sophia. Pawn: These are stones, sir? Do they contain some essence of the aspects you described? Lamont: Essence, yes. The neophyte was a knight, you see. She died in battle but her spirit was so strong it left behind this aspect you see here rather than becoming a Shell like Logan is now. Then there is the disciple who excelled in magic. Her fate was sealed in combat magic, but her will was so strong she left behind her aspect. I have chosen Logan to have the aspect of the neophyte so he will know what he must to live another day. Sophia with the aspect of the disciple because she has the right way of thinking, but needs a following. Pawn: You are giving these aspects out in order to reverse their origin and creation. Being a novice but having all knowledge, and being a follower to have a following? Sir, I don't understand. Lamknt: I did not follow a thing you just said pawn. Just take the aspects to August. Miranda: now wait just a second. Lamont: what are you doing here? Enigma: now you know the feeling you have us last night old man. Miranda: we heard you talk about some magic bullshit and what not. Lamont: are you telling me you do not believe in magic when it is around you everyday? Miranda: I didn't I say I don't believe in magic. I just don't believe in these aspects. How can one's soul,spirit, will, or whatever be so strong it stays behind on Wrath rather than going down to death? Enigma: She has a point. All wrathians are made stronger each generation by the previous. We should be stronger now than this neophyte and disciple were. Lamont: these two were pure. They were not a wrathian or a sloth or were any of the other five planets. They were from a unified planet were anyone had the chance to be both wrathful or patient. These pure specimens died while remaining on a righteous path when a corrupt one was a step away, and that is why their spirits were left behind as these aspects. Miranda: But you are not pure, you are the most vile man I have ever laid eyes on. You manipulating son of a bitch. I'll kill you! Lamont: Pawn? Pawn: See you in hell.
