Witches are one of the most common supernatural types. They're always female and believe in a matriarchal society that are governed by the coven in Massachusetts. However, not all witches belong to the coven and blogs like the one run by Kitty Wilde are helping women all over learn magic. They hate sorcerers but can learn to use their spells with difficulty. Witches can heal and their magic tends to be of the defensive variety.

Gleeks of the Otherworld ~ The North American Pack (Will Schuester, Terri Delmonico, Jesse St James, Jake Puckerman, Finn Hudson and Unique Adams)

Werewolves are shapeshifters who can transform into a wolf at any time though this is painful. They need to transform regularly or their body will force a change. Werewolves based in the USA are ruled by the North American pack who are based in New York state. Non-members are labelled as mutts and are not allowed to settle in one place, instead they have to move around. Werewolves can be made or born but due to low survival rates they are usually born. They all have super strength, speed and sense of smell but have to train their senses.

The North American pack is led by Will Schuester who has yet to choose between his son Jesse or his protege Finn to take over when he wishes to retire.

Gleeks of the Otherworld ~ Rachel Berry and Quinn Fabray

The fae are a group of spellcasters who have been believed in since the ancient times. They are rarer and weaker now due to a lack of belief but the most powerful families carry on disguised behind glamours and vengeance. Fae magic is unrecognisable to others but when discovered they can be trapped by iron. Certain varieties of fae have different powers however such as the leanan sidhe whose long lives are spent inspiring the creative and feeding off their desperate love for them.
