Closed Starter for @midnightsaboteur Melody & Oto
Oto was setting up the tripods when the buzzer to his apartment rang. He knew immediately it had to be Melody. Otherwise he was about to have an uninvited guest. He didn’t even really like having guests that were invited, the exception being his ‘co-workers.’ Though who wouldn’t get a little gity about making a film that was bound to make money. Oto set down the tripod and pushed the intercom. “Come on up. Door is unlocked.” A loud meow caught his attention. Stratus, his large fluffy grey cat, sat on the table by the door. “Make sure Status doesn’t bold,” he reminded Melody over the intercom before buzzing her in.
He went back to setting up all the cameras. He had three tripods set up and one handheld. Everyone loved a POV shot but Oto did sort of hate having to shove a camera in his co-stars face. Especially with Melody. It was impossible for him to actually look at her when he needed her to look through the camera. He’d finished mounting the camera onto the tripod when he heard the door to his apartment open and Status started meowing. Singing the song of his furry people as he rubbed against Melody’s leg.
“Good to see you,” Oto said in his usual, monotone voice. He gave Melody a kiss on top of her head like he always did.
