Vance: I know you’re grown up now, but you still need to tell us where you’re going.

Misery: You’re okay!! Edgar: Uh, yeah, why wouldn’t I be? -- Misery: You were gone for hours and we didn’t know where you went! Edgar: Man, I have got to move out.

Edgar: The truth is, I did a lot of research. From what I’ve read, it’s definitely more up my Aunt’s alley than mine...I’m not even sure why I agreed to do it in the first place. I haven’t told my mom I’m backing out...she’ll be thrilled. Rhea: I’m really glad I got through to you! People who have passed are very happy where they are, you shouldn’t mess with that stuff. Now let’s go to a cafe or something.

Rhea: So Mr “I want to bring someone back” is afraid of ghosts? How were you planning on bringing someone back to life? -- Edgar: I’m not, I’m all done with that...let’s go! Rhea: You’re over it that quickly, huh?

Edgar: You brought me to a literal haunted mansion?! -- Rhea: Yes! You’re interested in the afterlife, right? This is my friend Mimsy, she’s willing to answer any of your questions. Pretty neat, huh? Edgar: Uh, not the word I would use...more like “terrifying”.

Rhea: Thanks for meeting up with me! Edgar: Are you kidding? It’s always nice seeing you! -- Rhea: I’m going to take you somewhere I think you’ll really enjoy.
