Summary: During a game night with the other WAGs, Y/n and her friends try a viral TikTok trend where they all take pregnancy tests for fun. What starts as a joke quickly turns serious when one test comes back positive.

Y/n never expected a TikTok trend would change her life.
It had started as just another night with the WAGs watching the Senators game, sipping wine and screaming at the TV whenever the refs made a bad call. At some point, between debating whether Josh would score and roasting one of the girls’ husbands for missing an open net, someone pulled out their phone.
“Okay, have you guys seen this trend?” she asked, showing them a TikTok of a group of friends all taking pregnancy tests, mixing them up, and revealing the results together. Apparently just for fun.
“This is so dumb,” Y/n laughed.
And yet, somehow, twenty minutes later, they were all in the bathroom, giggling as they lined up pregnancy tests on the counter and waited.
Then the timer went off.
Someone flipped the tests over.
And one of them was positive.
The laughter immediately died.
The girls all stared at each other, wide-eyed.
“Okay,” someone finally said. “Whose is it?”
Silence.
“We should… probably do another round,” one of the girls suggested hesitantly.
No one argued.
A few minutes later, they each took another test, this time keeping their own before setting them down and waiting.
The timer beeped.
One by one, they picked up their sticks.
Y/n looked down at hers.
Two strong pink lines.
“Oh my God,” she whispered.
She slowly lifted her head, feeling every heartbeat in her chest. The girls’ eyes were locked on her, a mix of excitement and shock in their expressions.
“Y/n,” one of them murmured, “you’re pregnant.”
Now, sitting alone in the apartment, Y/n stared at the positive test on the coffee table.
Pregnant. She and Josh were going to have a baby.
The front door suddenly opened, and his familiar voice filled the space. “Babe, I’m home!”
Her heart jumped. She wasn’t ready to tell him.
Y/n quickly grabbed the test and shoved it behind a pillow as Josh walked in, dropping his bag by the door. The second he saw her, he paused, brows pulling together.
“What’s up?” he asked, eyeing her suspiciously.
“What do you mean?” she asked, a little too quickly.
Josh squinted. “You look… weird.”
Y/n forced a laugh. “Weird? That’s rude.”
He smirked. “No, like, you’re suspicious weird.”
Sucking in a deep breath, she grabbed the test and held it out to him.
Josh stared at it at first and then at her. Then back at the test.
“No way.”
Y/n bit her lip. “Way.”
Josh blinked. His mouth opened. Closed. Opened again.
Then, without warning, he grabbed her by the waist and lifted her off the ground, spinning her around. “Are you serious?”
She laughed, wrapping her arms around him. “Very serious.”
When he finally set her down, his hands cradled her face, his eyes wide with disbelief and excitement. “We’re having a baby?”
She nodded, grinning. “Yeah, Josh. We are.”
A laugh left his lips before he kissed her, deep and slow, like he was trying to soak in every second of this moment.
When he finally pulled back, his forehead pressed against hers, his voice still filled with awe. “How, how did you even find out?”

Josh leaned against the counter, watching Y/n take ingredients from the fridge. “So, what we’re filming for TikTok this time?”
Y/n turned around with a carton of eggs in her hand, her expression perfectly innocent. “Breakfast, we’re making breakfast. People love couple cooking videos for some reason.”
Josh nodded, pulling out a pan. “Alright, what’s the plan? Omelets? Scrambled eggs?”
She hid a smirk, setting her phone on the counter to record. “Let’s start with cracking a few eggs,” she started. “Here, hold still for a second. I’ll show you a trick my mom taught me.”
Josh tilted his head curiously, leaning slightly forward. “A trick? We’re getting a trick guys.” He said laughing into the camera.
Grinning to herself, Y/n picked up an egg and held it delicately in her hand. “Okay, now you have to stay still. This is all about precision.”
Josh nodded seriously, completely buying into it. “Got it.”
With a swift motion, she cracked the egg right on his forehead. The yolk slid down his face, and for a moment, he just froze.
“Y/n!” he said in disbelief as he wiped his face with both hands.
Y/n burst out laughing, cracking up a little more each time she look at him. “You should see your face right now!”
Josh glanced at the camera, realizing what had just happened. “This isn’t breakfast; this is payback for last week, isn’t it? When I pranked you.”
“Maybe,” she teased, still laughing.
Josh grabbed another egg from the carton. “Oh, you’re in trouble now.”
Later
Still feeling bad about her prank, Y/n cuddled up to Josh on the couch. “I feel a little bit bad about the prank.”
Josh smirked, not looking up from his phone. “A little bit?”
“Let me make it up to you,” she said, holding up her phone as a proof she’s been searching. “I found the cutest trend. We can do it together and no eggs this time, I promise.”
Josh raised an eyebrow. “What’s the trend?”
She tapped her phone, and Jack Johnson’s Upside Down began playing. “It’s simple. You just lift me up, turn me upside down, and set me back on my feet.”
Josh groaned dramatically but couldn’t resist her pleading expression. “Fine, but if you fall, it’s on you.”
Moments later, the camera was recording. As the song played, Josh leaned down and grabbed Y/N by the waist. She giggled as he effortlessly lifted her, carefully turning her upside down. Her legs kicked playfully in the air before he spun her back around and set her on her feet.
They both laughed, Y/n wobbling slightly before grabbing onto his arms. “See? That wasn’t so bad!”
Josh shook his head, smiling as they watched the playback. “Alright, that was cute. You’re off the hook.”
The final clip showed Y/n standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek.
Summary: When Drake finds out Y/n is pregnant, he promises to keep it a secret. But after scoring an incredible goal, his excitement leads to an unexpected public reveal.

Drake paced the living room as his hands ran through his messy hair, tugging slightly as if trying to wake himself up from a dream. Across from him, Y/n sat curled up on the couch, her knees tucked under her as she watched him. A mix of excitement, nerves, and joy rushed through her, her hands gripping the pillow on her lap.
“You’re… having a baby?” Drake finally said with a hint of disbelief. He stopped in his tracks, turning to face her fully.
“We’re having a baby,” Y/n corrected with a soft laugh which quickly disappeared as she studied his face, desperately trying to figure out if he was happy or not.
Drake’s expression shifted from shock to joy. A wide grin spread across his face, and he dropped to his knees in front of her, his eyes almost glistening. His large hands first threw the pillow away and then they sneaked under her shirt and then finally rested gently on her stomach, which had yet to show.
“This is insane,” he murmured quietly. His thumbs stroked the soft skin of Y/n’s stomach as if he could somehow feel the tiny life growing inside. “There’s a little human in there?”
“There is,” Y/n said, her hand slipping into his hair, brushing the strands away from his forehead.
Drake let out a shaky laugh, his forehead resting against her stomach for a moment before looking up at her. “Promise me you’ll let me spoil them. Whatever they want—mini hockey sticks, jerseys, skates…”
Y/n chuckled, shaking her head. “We’ll talk about that later. But, Drake, you cannot tell anyone yet. Not your teammates, not your friends. Promise me.”
A few weeks later, Y/n found herself at the rink, the sharp chill of the arena air brushing her cheeks as she settled into her seat. She wore an oversized hoodie, the fabric hanging around her to keep her secret safe. Only their families and Sophie and Emma, two of her closest friends knew about the pregnancy. The rest of the girls had no idea, and Y/n wasn’t sure how long that would last.
“You okay?” Sophie whispered, leaning closer.
“I’m fine,” Y/n said and smiled as Sophie stroked her back to comfort her in case she needed it.
Emma snorted from the other side of Y/n. “If they don’t suspect anything then they’re all blind. You’re practically glowing. Seriously, Y/n, you’re giving it away with just showing your face.”
Y/n rolled her eyes, her cheeks turning red. “I am not. Besides, I wasn’t going to come, remember? You two dragged me here.”
“Guilty,” Sophie said.
Midway through the second period, the girls were laughing at a joke Emma had made when the crowd went crazy. Y/n’s head snapped to the ice, where Drake had just received a perfect pass. He lined up his shot, and sent the puck flying into the back of the net. The red light flashed, and the arena exploded with cheers.
“That was beautiful,” Sophie said, clapping.
Y/n joined in, her heart pounding with pride and excitement. But as she looked back at Drake, her stomach flipped. He was skating toward her section, grinning. That mischievous grin she knew all too well. The same grin that always meant he was up to no good.
“What’s he doing?” Emma asked.
At first, Y/n thought he was just acknowledging her like he always did after a goal. But then, he dropped his stick, cradled his arms as if holding a baby, and mouthed “we’re having a baby!”
The arena went silent for a split second, the crowd processing his gesture, before bursting into cheers and laughter. His teammates surrounded him almost immediately, clapping his helmet and pulling him into hugs.
“Oh my God,” Sophie muttered, her jaw dropping. “He actually did it.”
Y/n’s face burned as the camera panned to her section, projecting her onto the screen. She froze, her eyes wide as the rest of her friends screamed in excitement.
Sophie hugged her tightly, whispering, “Just smile. You’ve got this.”
Emma, unable to resist, leaned over and gave Y/n’s “baby bump” a playful pat. “You’re famous now, mama!”
Y/n laughed, the embarrassment fading under the wave of congratulations from fans around her.
“Drake!” she hissed at him, though she couldn’t hide the smile forming on her lips.
Back in the locker room, Drake’s announcement had become the main talk of the team.
“Really? A goal announcement?” one teammate teased, shaking his head.
“What can I say?” Drake replied, leaning back in his seat, grinning ear to ear. “Best goal of my life.”
“Gotta admit, it’s legendary,” another teammate said. “Just don’t start calling the kid ‘Hat Trick.’”
The locker room burst into laughter, and Drake laughed along with them, his heart still racing from the night’s events.
When Drake finally made his way out, Y/n was already waiting for him. She stood there with her arms crossed, but the corners of her mouth twitched as she tried to fight back the smile.
“You promised,” she said, raising an eyebrow.
“I did. But technically, I didn’t tell anyone. I just… showed them,” he said, smiling unapologetically as he closed the distance between them.
Y/n rolled her eyes, but her laughter gave her away. “You’re impossible, you know that?”
Drake wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. “And you love me anyway.”
“Unfortunately,” she teased, resting her head against his chest. “You’re lucky you scored a great goal, or I’d be a lot angrier.”
Drake pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, his hand slipping down to rest on her growing bump. “I love you, and I love this little one.”
Y/n sighed, leaning into him. “You’re going to be an amazing dad… even though you’re terrible at keeping secrets.”
“The best kind of terrible,” Drake said proudly. He gazed down at her, his eyes softening. "We’ve got this, Y/n. It’s going to be perfect."
Summary: Drake and Y/n celebrate the joyful reveal of their baby’s gender at the shower. Later, they discuss potential names
Words: 1011
Note: This a second part to a previous story. First part.
The day of Y/n and Drake’s baby shower finally arrived, and the excitement was hanging in the air. Y/n and Drake stood together by the table in the middle of the garden, surrounded by their family and close friends. Sophie and Emma had outdone themselves, transforming their garden into a pastel-colored wonderland. Streamers, balloons, and baby clothes hung everywhere, and the table was full of presents.
“Ready to find out what you’re having?” Sophie announced with a wide smile, holding up a large cake decorated with a simple question: Boy or Girl?
Y/n and Drake exchanged a glance, both of them feeling the rush of anticipation. The moment had arrived.
“I can’t believe it’s finally here,” Y/n said, her hand resting on her belly as she smiled up at Drake.
“Same,” he murmured, squeezing her hand gently. “Are you ready?”
Y/n nodded, her heart racing in excitement. “Let’s do it.”
Sophie handed them a small knife, and with a dramatic pause, they both cut into the cake together. As the knife sliced through the layers, the crowd went silent, waiting for the big moment. Drake pulled away the first piece, revealing layers of pink frosting hidden inside.
“It’s a girl!” Sophie squealed, her voice high with excitement.
The garden was suddenly filled with cheers and applause as Y/n’s hand flew to her mouth in surprise, her eyes filling with tears. Drake pulled her into his arms, spinning her around and kissing her as they both laughed and cried with joy.
“A little girl,” Y/n whispered into his ear, her voice thick with emotion.
Drake pulled back slightly, his forehead resting against hers. “I can’t believe it. We’re having a daughter.”
Y/n smiled, her heart full. “A daughter. Can you imagine her?” she said with excitement.
“I can,” he said softly, his hand resting gently on her stomach, stroking it gently.
“You can?” Y/n asked, playfully rising her eyebrow in disbelief.
“Yes, I can,” he said firmly. “I’m such a girl dad.” He explained.
Y/n's heart swelled as Drake's words sank in. She looked up at him, seeing the pure joy and excitement in his eyes as he spoke about their future daughter. "I can't wait to be a girl dad," he said, smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
The sincerity in his voice melted Y/n's heart, and she felt a rush of love for both him and their little girl. Love stronger and deeper than she imagined. She imagined Drake with their daughter - teaching her how to skate, sharing his love for hockey, playing with dolls and letting her brush his hair, and being the protective, loving father she knew he would be. Y/n couldn’t help but smile, her chest tightening with happiness.
This was real. They were really going to be parents, and their little girl was going to be loved beyond measure.
“I can already picture her, in little dresses, running around. Probably causing a mess, just like you did when you were little.” Drake continued in his daydreaming.
Y/n laughed, pushing his arm playfully. “I didn’t cause that much trouble.”
“You sure?” Drake teased, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. “Because I feel like this little girl will have some of your energy.”
Y/n rolled her eyes but couldn’t stop the smile that reminded on her lips. “She’s going to be just as sweet as her dad.”
After the excitement of the reveal settled down, Y/n and Drake spent the rest of the afternoon surrounded by friends and family, laughing and opening gifts. Tiny clothes, books, and toys piled up in every corner. But as the sun began to set and the last of their guests said their goodbyes, the couple finally found a quiet moment to themselves.
Later that night, after dinner and a long day of celebrations, Y/n and Drake snuggled up in bed together. The room was softly lit by the glow of the bedside lamp, and the peaceful silence felt comforting after such eventful day.
Drake wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close as they both lay back into the soft pillows. “So, it’s a girl,” he said, his voice full of wonder. “Can you believe it?”
Y/n smiled, resting her head on his chest. “I still can’t quite believe it, but I’m so happy. A little girl…”
He kissed the top of her head. “I can’t wait to meet her. I’m already thinking about all the things we’re going to teach her. How to skate, how to play hockey…”
“Maybe,” Y/n teased, “but don’t go pushing her into skating right away, okay?”
Drake laughed softly, stroking her hair. “Alright, I promise. But I think she’ll be pretty good at it, just like her mom.”
Y/n chuckled, but her expression softened as she looked up at him. “You know, now that we know it’s a girl… we have to start thinking about names.”
As Y/n mentioned that they needed to start thinking about a name, Drake's expression softened. Without a word, he slowly moved closer to her, his hand resting on her growing belly. He lowered himself, resting on top of her as he placed a tender kiss on her stomach, his heart full of emotion.
He smiled, speaking softly, as if the baby could hear every word. “What’s your name gonna be, huh? I’ve got a feeling you’re gonna have a name as beautiful as you are.” He placed another gentle kiss on her belly, his voice full of love. “I love you, little one. I love you and your mommy so much.”
Y/n’s eyes shimmered with tears as she watched him, her heart full at the sight. Drake, the man she loved, already so in tune with their little girl.
“You’re going to do big things, you know?” he whispered, his hand tenderly rubbing the stomach. “You’re going to be amazing, and we’ll be right here, cheering you on every step of the way.”
Y/n smiled through her tears, her hand gently caressing his hair as she whispered, “She’s going to be perfect, Drake. Just like you.”
