@otterloreart The tiny test print firmed up in ambient light enough to string her -- I'm not sure a mini-print will be much good as feedback but here she is for fun! She's adorable 😭

test print very testy
printing so small made the fit allowance in the elbow peanut really tight
and the ankle rim quite fragile
despite so much time in the uv station, the parts are still a little sticky so I will put them outside tomorrow if we have any sun
next print I will do at the correct size and just split the parts into two batches 🤞
We are cookin now! I believe everything printed with no huge errors! There are some tiny holes where I didn't support enough but nowhere critical.
I regret printing at 70% size to fit it on one plate though; some of those pieces are SO tiny like this.
Next time, full size
Currently all the parts are a little sticky after two washes. I've got them in the curing station on a longer setting, and intend to rotate them and put them in another ten minutes after this. 🤞
I am attempting a print of otterloreart's Takara pony BJD. I've never printed so many parts before, and I certainly am not experienced with setting up supports for parts like this so I'm not confident this one will turn out. (Plus it's raining and humid!) I'm just using the grey resin I already had in the vat for this test run. But if I can get it working well, then I hope to use a light yellow resin for the real deal.
But yeah, making stuff. Just gonna keep doing things.
I'll show you the print results in about five hours maybe? Something to look forward to 💕
Won't know for sure for another few hours yet but it certainly looks like something's happening!
(Otterloreart's Takara pony BJD for anyone wondering!)
