I'm rewatching Operation Mongoose and I think it's hilarious how aside from being a deckhand for Blackbeard, the only thing that Rumple and the author changed for Hook was making him allergic to rum 😭😭😭

Issac: Ok, that's Snow and Charming dealt with, what do you want to do with Captain Hook?

Rumplestiltskin: MAKE HIM ALLERGIC TO RUM!

Rumplestiltskin: No that's it. Make him allergic to rum. That'll teach him.
