You’ve always been a huge inspiration to me, from driving me to improve my art to giving me so many ideas for character designs. I was always timid to approach you but once I did I learned you are an amazing person who is very kind and easy to get along with! You even became one of my closest friends and I know I could trust you with anything. It amazes me how you can pump out art for your blogs the way you do! like damn, I wish I could focus long enough to do plot lol keep being the amazing person and artist you are and I look forward to the years of friendship to come! 14.A whisper in the ear (yukinetheblessed)

The way you said “I love you.“   (accepting)

  Blessed was something that Kaneki was far from but when he spent time with Yukine he felt like some God out there did indeed bless him... They spent the spring afternoon just roaming around a festival that was being held just outside of Tokyo. Kaneki let the younger male go wherever he wanted to and just followed along happily, whenever someone happened to not see Yukine and cut in line then Kaneki was right there. Yukine was a light in Kaneki’s dark life and he intended on protecting that light in the other no matter what the cost would be. 

  When the other felt tired after spending all day and afternoon out in the heat at the festival, Kaneki bought the younger boy some ice cream before they got on the train to head back to Kaneki’s place. They made small talk on the ride home, Kaneki listening to everything Yukine was talking about and even brushed away some dripping icecream off of the other’s chin. ‘Yukine is so pure and innocent.. So different from me..’

  Back in his apartment, after changing and cooling off in the AC, the duo climbed onto the couch and turned a random movie on the TV with no intent to watch the show and more focus on napping.. Kaneki, though, was able to stay awake longer than Yukine and when he felt the other’s even breathing, he smiled softly. He was not really sure when he realized this, or if the other could tell Kaneki’s true feelings for the younger male, but.. 

  Leaning over, he brushed the other’s hair back a little before placing his mouth by the younger’s ear. “I love you, Yukine.” Kaneki whispered before pressing a little kiss to the other’s temple and laying back down against the couch to eventually fall asleep with the other.
