this is an awkward question and its alright if ya dont answer but.....how do you tell if you're hypersexual?

So technically “hypersexuality is defined as a dysfunctional preoccupation with sexual fantasy, often in combination with the obsessive pursuit of casual or non-intimate sex; pornography; compulsive masturbation; romantic intensity and objectified partner sex for a period of at least six months.”

So for us, we consider Alex and Alice hypersexual because they have inappropriate sexual impulses, intrusive sexual thoughts, and a sex drive that doesn’t match their actual sexual interests. So for example having untrollable sexual thoughts about someone they actually have no sexual interest in. Another example is masturbating so much that you're actually hurting yourself. Also having lots of sexual thoughts tied to your abusive situations isn’t necessarily hypersexuality but it is a common co-morbid feature. 

So if you feel you feel like you brain is filled with sex and you can’t control it then you are probably experiencing hypersexuality.
