she was an only child and remembered being horribly lonely. she’d always been high energy with an artistic touch and while her parents did support her (mostly) they weren’t really someone to share it with. she’s had flashes of her memories but it was always written off by people she tried to tell (because of course she immediately wanted to share) as a story and she kind of believed them. mabel always was highly imaginative after all. would always take herself on little adventures that she’d scrapbook and managed to put together a small friend group to take with her. she doesn’t really know what to think now of the flashes, isn’t sure what’s going on with this place either but all of her friends went off to college while she wanted to be an artist and needed something new so she’s excited

the miyagi prefecture in japan. tokyo, japan.

3. what was your fake life like?

it was very similar to canon - tooru began playing volleyball at a young age, playing on his middle school and high school teams. he wound up going to university in tokyo, on a sports scholarship. he’s still a very good player, though likely not quite as good as in canon - he, after all, didn’t have iwaizumi or another super close childhood friend playing with him the whole while. he couldn’t explain why he felt so drawn to volleyball, either, not until he got his memories back, but his loyalty to the sport never wavered through anything.

4. where were you taken from in your canon?

shortly after aoba jousai lost to karasuno during the spring high. so he’s probably Big Sad

5. anything else we should know?

some wanted connections are! teammates ! probably people tooru’s met in ouray that he’s annoyed into playing volleyball with him, or possibly, just general gym buddies. some friends! and some frenemies, as he annoys a lot of people.

was born in london, england but traveled frequently and was staying in thailand when she received the letter

3. what was your fake life like?

river song always knew there was something wrong with her life. she was born into the foster system, but was a difficult child and never ultimately had a stable family growing up. she spent a lot of time looking at the stars, like she expected someone to come pick her up one day. she traveled a lot, looking for what was missing in her life, and got pieces of her memories. she has already picked up two or three degrees, and has probably been married and divorced once.

4. where were you taken from in your canon?

somewhere in between being imprisoned for killing the doctor and when she goes to the library and ultimately dies.  this is a long period of time so it’s difficult to give an exact moment

Sendai, Japan

3. what was your fake life like?

Hinata’s fake life was similar to his in the canon life, in the way that he lives with his mother and little sister, and has a love for volleyball. He grew up pretty simply, he lived with his sister and mother, who he still tries, to this day, to do right by always. When he was in his last year of middle school, he found out about the game of Volleyball. All of a sudden, the boy who spent his whole life up until that point floating aimlessly, not sure what to do with himself, he finally felt he found his purpose, volleyball was what he was meant to do. Ever since that day, Hinata put everything he could into learning how to play volleyball. Within the next year Hinata found himself playing for his highschool team. He may be small, but made up for it with his high jumps and quick reflexes, becoming a star in his school, and soon Japan. After his team made it to nationals his third year, he was scouted by many teams and schools, but when he received the letter from Ouray, saying something about finding his true team mates, he knew he had to go there. So he packed up and headed there. He is enrolled in university, and still plays volleyball, ready to go pro once he he graduates. 

4. where were you taken from in your canon?

Hinata is taken from the end of season one, after Karasuno was defeated by Aobajohsai, mainly because I just started season two, but like I’m already in love with all the characters. So yeah he is taken from after their defeat at interhigh. 

5. anything else we should know?

So basically Hinata is a mixture of a cute puppy and a gremlin. Like the boy is super cute, and many people he knew back home had this habit of trying to protect him, like he is a small child, which like, technically that isn’t wrong, because like he is small and he is barely not a child, but he is also like a feral goblin child at times. Like the boy is all sunshine and optimism, filled with so much energy that he could power the whole city of Tokyo for a whole year via a hamster wheel, but like at the same time, he is terrifying when he gets all fired up. He also has a complete and utter lack of self preservation and self care. Like the boy will spend days practicing volleyball, running on barely any sleep and a handful of goldfish. He is a good loyal boy, but tends to have a very one track mind. 

Connections

So like I am up for any connections, but here are some of the basic ones: 

Friends, like any type of friends, friends that encourage Hinata’s impulsive behavior, and cause chaos with him, friends that challenge him and make him push harder, and for hinata, the all important mom friends, aka the ones who try and stop him from doing stupid crap and like probably the only reason why he is still functioning.

Rivals, because like, no one can tell me that this boy doesn’t like try to make rivals wherever he goes. Like admittedly he doesn’t always realize that he is doing this but like he is definitely  competitive, and his refusal to give up tends to leave him competing with at least a few people. 

Flirations?? Like so he totally doesn’t realize that he is flirting with them, like he isn’t trying to flirt, he is being friendly, but man it has probably happened more than Hinata liked to admit. He is just a sweetheart, and wants to be friendly.

People to play Volleyball with, because like you would be sorely mistaken if you believed it wasn’t his first goal when arriving here. Adding onto this, anyone who would want to work out with the pipsqueak. He is a runner mainly, when he isn’t doing volleyball of course. 

Classmates, since he is a university student?????? I have no clue what he is studying because like he doesn’t really wanna be in school, but he doesn’t want to let his mom down, plus the whole draw to Ouray. 

Platonic cuddle friends?? Because like my boy gives some mean cuddles, and likes to snuggle XD.

chloe’s fake life was very similar to her real life. the only significant difference was instead of her father dying, it was joyce that passed away on her way to pick up him up at the grocery. She did have an older sister, named emily, as well and Chloe looked up to her. She was in the car with Joyce. And David was never in the picture. Instead, her dad never moved on. Chloe was dating this girl in her fake life and she fell for her, hard. She had always questioned who she was and if this was her life.

I was taken from right before Arcadia Bay turned into a pit. Before it all went to shambles and there was nothing left. I hear there were a few survivors but i don’t know who they were

3. what was your fake life like?

he comes from an old family - one that claims a relation to a king, or maybe a duke, or some other kind of noble. frankly, puck didn’t care much to listen closely enough to know the exacts. but the point is, the family is somewhat well known and rather rich. his father died when he was young, and his mother did her best to raise him and his younger twin brother, but she was strict and overbearing at the best of times. once he turned eighteen, he left home and has barely looked back since.

4. where were you taken from in your canon?

the end of the series, but wholly ignoring both epilogues !!  so the everafter war is over, and he’s just recently left to go adventuring with jake and collect magical artifacts and such. and he remembers it all. or, rather, will remember it all eventually as i seriously need to reread the books. but that aside, he remembers everything from canon (except the epilogues. we don’t speak of the epilogues in this house).

if you wanna know what’s up with the two fandoms, read this, otherwise uhhhh i got nothing more for y’all !!

so! sisters grimm is a children’s book series running off a similar concept to once upon a time - fairytale characters existing in the real world. but sg doesn’t run with just fairytales - there’s shakespeare characters (obviously), figures from folklore (puck is probably the president of baba yaga’s fanclub tbh), and some others as well - and the fairytales it does use are the grimm versions of them! so they can get kinda dark !

so in essence, the events of a midsummer night’s dream are more or less puck’s origin, but his more recent canon is sisters grimm. basically. and sg took some certain, ah, liberties with the play and the relationships so !!! puck is oberon and titania’s eldest son. making him the crown prince. meaning that since oberon bit it (that asshole), puck is, technically, the king of faerie.

also his beserk button is calling him peter pan or comparing him to peter pan or honestly even just acknowledging that peter pan exists. do that if you want to make him Angry.

he grew up with an older sister (not a twin sister), who he wasn’t especially close to. he developed an interest in the paranormal at a young age and watched most, if not all, of the  ghost hunting shows and those similar to them. he never went on any crazy adventures or anything, though - the closest thing to it would be any vacations his family took when he was growing up.

4. where were you taken from in your canon?

after the series ended. bill was defeated, weirdmageddon had been stopped, grunkle stan had his memories back but - summer was over, and mabel and he had to leave gravity falls behind.

he 100% trusts nothing of what’s going on. he could use a friend or two, maybe someone who’s willing to go with him on his mystery hunts and such.

3. what was your fake life like?

vanya truly had no idea about her real memories for most of her life. she had a nice small family, and things weren’t perfect, sure, but she was mostly happy growing up and into young adulthood. she still had her love for violin and went to college for violin and music. she didn’t have any sense that things were wrong or any idea of anything until she was twenty five, when a bad thunderstorm triggered her powers, and with it some of her memories. she doesn’t remember everything but she does remember main events, and the terrible emotions that came with everything. she’s really not sure if she’s interested in finding her family given what she remembers, but she does want control, doesn’t want to worry about hurting people.

4. where were you taken from in your canon?

the end of season 1. as she was knocked out when it happened she has no idea about the time travel but does remember destroying the moon.

5. anything else we should know?

a little more confident than vanya usually is due to her upbringing and fake life, though her memories have made her spiral a little bit, and she’s relatively all over the place at the moment. even though she’s mostly interested in control there’s a voice in the back of her mind begging for answers that she’s trying to ignore
