Had a great time on Capital Radio 95.8FM’s morning show, where I exchanged views with the friendly hosts – 冯剑斌 (Raymond Foong) and 琪琪 (QiQi ) – on how seniors and youths can play their part in making Singapore a more caring, cohesive and confident home for all. We welcome seniors to actively participate in promoting Singapore’s heritage. As part of Our SG Heritage Plan, our heritage institutions (Malay Heritage Centre, Indian Heritage Centre and @sysnmh Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall) will become Silver Hubs where seniors can volunteer and share their experiences with the younger generation. We also want our youth to be more interested and have a say in issues that matter to them. The Youth Conversations will be a platform for youths to connect with their peers from different walks of life, and come up with innovative ideas for change.
