So i realized with a help of a friend how much of a limitation was put upon him that left him really an empty mold.. The idea of the archivists i originally had would be better for a book instead of an rp.
Leo has changed to fit what i originally planned and saw him. The archivists have also changed as i saw them as a good organization to help humanity instead of a dark cult killing people who dont follow rules to a T.
Things have been updated and i am a lot more happy with it now thanks to my friends help of showing the flaws in some ideas.. There is always room to add more things, but for now i got the big things i wanted. If their is another big info dump on his page ill let you know. Otherwise feel free to just message me to see if anything changed so you dont have to read through everything again!
💗 Has my muse ever been in love? 👠 What was my muse’s last serious relationship like? 👰 Would my muse ever get married?
“Have i been in love? I would like to think so, it is a rather subjective thing if you ask me. I do believe i had found it once before they passed away, but i always have hopes of finding someone else again.”
“My last relationship was rather.. debatable on the quality. While it started well and the whole birds singing and single focused it didn’t end well when we couldn't meet quite eye to eye. He wasn't very happy about it either and went a little crazy about it before i knew it was time to end it.”
“I do like to entertain the thought of marriage from time to time. The thought does send butterflies to my belly to tell the truth. But i am rather nervous about the whole idea with my first betrothal. I always worry they wont live up to what i envision with what i went through when just engaged. But i’m sure there is someone out there who will treat me with respect and can have the love and respect i have for them.”
The archivists were created when humanity first began to form the basics of societies with writing or whatever ways they used to record history. They were the first historians.
Some were hated by the rest of society for writing things they believed should be secret. But they continued nonetheless. Some even being killed by their own people for such a thing. However it did not go unnoticed as the Gods noticed their dedication to record what humanity truly is. They granted them immortality so long as they wished to continue this endeavor but are not enslaved by this ability and may choose to return to mortality whenever they feel.
As time began to pass people began realize the need a love for history and the archives created by the archivists. Be it for the thirst to learn or simply needing a book for a research paper pushed upon them.
This is why the archives are loved by humanity. Created by a deity the archives is a building placed on every continent around the world. Each building connects to the same place of the archives, but leaving the only exit inside of the archives will spit those who enter back out exactly from the door they entered.
The archives became loved by all because of their unbiased and vast amount of knowledge. As well as a place to meet and interact with other cultures and people from around the world who all file into the archives.
The archivists are free to take pauses of recording to instead maintain the archives and purse other events. However their recordings must be unbiased or they physically cannot put them onto the shelves of the archives. The book may be kept for personal reasons otherwise.
The archives have a barrier around it that those who have a malicious, greedy, or evil intent physically cannot enter into the archives as it is a place of learning and equality. This barrier also prevents destruction of the buildings. Even if war rages outside of them, nothing can touch the building.
Books will disappear from hands or bags of those who try to remove them from the library. They will reappear right back on the shelves where they belong.
The archivists live within the archives with a door at the back of the archives that opens the room of which ever archivist uses their key. Each room is unique to the archivist of what they enjoy and want. Food and other items are usually present to them by donations of money and items from the visitors of the library.
All archivists must be present to open the door to enter the hall containing the forbidden knowledge. If an archivist is using this for malicious intent the door will not open and that archivists key will disintegrate and that archivist will be returned to a normal mortal. If an outside force is pushing them to open the door it will not open.
There are 38 archivists living as of XX. 25 of them are male while the remaining 13 are female. They are life family to one another and often work together to maintain the archives, record, and simply enjoy life and interacting with those who enter the library.
They are able to preform light healing magic to heal wounds that they may receive from recording history and may go for longer periods of time without food, water, or sleep. But cannot be done mutable times in a row.
They are able to go unnoticed to the public if they wish unless people are paying close attention around them. Like a stranger in a crowd you wont see unless you are specifically looking for something out of place.
Please forgive me for the long post, it will be the only one you’ll get when following me... Just hammering out more details on Leo that he desperately needed.
