body headcanons (Shantae Cast)
Is CONSTANTLY running around adventuring, dancing, and fighting. Solid, all-around muscle base. Eats a lot of recovery food (and has quite a sweet tooth), so she has a soft appearance - not quite to the extent of her father's strongman bulk and build, but a similar vein. Cannot feel anything on her back due to burn scars from the Oubliette of Suffering that she acquired while fully human, and wears a vest as an aid for spatial awareness. Moves like lightning.
Runs on Dark Magic and needs less resources to keep going, despite her expensive tastes, so she's a bit gaunt (aside from her face - she's proud of it, and her passive Dark Magic responds by keeping it looking healthy, if a bit sharp). Wiry muscle from leaping around on her ship. She doesn't look it, but she is heavy due to all of her internal modifications over the years. Hands are somewhat calloused from working with machinery and weaponry and ship rigging, though the effects are lessened by Dark Magic.
Strong arms and back muscles from hauling around bird feed and balancing war birds on her arms. Arms are covered in scratches and small scars at most times (accidents happen and talons are sharp). Has put on a bit of weight since settling in Scuttle Town, mostly sitting around her stomach and hips. Only cares because her parents nag her about it.
Literally swaps out whatever she wants when something breaks. Tries to keep her appearance consistent unless she's doing a bit or needs to reach something beyond her normal scope, but can often look mismatched. Her head and torso are OG, her limbs are not. Prefers strong running legs when she can get them. Is wearing contacts for her farsighted eyes.
Locket (aka Living/Soul Rottytops)
Played baseball while she was still alive. General athletic build with some emphasis on her legs for speed and her upper back for those ideal swings. Farsighted, wears glasses.
Worried about his appearance and keeping up with his friends, so his muscles lean more toward "show" than "go". That said, his legs are strong, as are his hands. Hands are calloused from all the odd jobs he does. Constantly covered in bumps and bruises and scrapes in various states of recovery. Nearsighted, isn't doing anything about it.
Has decent muscles from expedition work, but most of his weight is fat in his old age. Doesn't care about it in the least. Hands are rough from handling machinery in his workshop.
