Well apparently they didn’t know that there was a problem until recently but @mnetamerica has responded on facebook and if you are someone that was affected by the outage of the channel you are to e-mail them and the address is on their facebook page. I wonder what actually happened?

Progress!

Hello, all,

It looks as if we may be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The tracker is now loading effectively for me; you might continue to see issues, as my webhost’s Twitter only says that they’re making progress, not that they’ve had a full resolution, but the site should be working for at least some users now.

I’ll keep an eye on things and update further as events warrant. As always, feel free to let me know if you encounter issues.

Tracker outage continues

Well, I can confidently report that the IT people at my hosting provider are having a very bad day. Their (fairly regular, thankfully) Twitter updates suggest they either don’t know what’s wrong or haven’t found a solution yet (and the attack is bad enough i can’t even get into their homepage to poke at my account).

So...this sucks and you all have my sincere apologies on their behalf. I would offer to provide a data export of threads to anyone who needs it but I can’t get at the database either. *sigh*

Hosting Maintenance Causing Outage on RPThreadTracker

Hey, folks -- it looks like my hosting provider is doing maintenance tonight (from 6pm to 3am PST according to their site) which is causing outages in the tracker’s database. There should be no data loss and this is a performance issue only and unfortunately it’s out of my hands, but it should be back up in a few hours.

Thanks to everyone who messaged me to inform me about this issue! I’ll update further if I learn that there’s any more to the situation.

RPTHREADTRACKER SUFFERING SERVER OUTAGE

Or, "Damn I really need new hosting" All Tracker users, be aware that WinHost (the hosting provider I use for RPThreadTracker) is currently suffering a network outage that appears to have taken down not only my site but their site as well. Oy. As of 35 minutes ago, their Twitter announced they were working on the problem so hopefully we will be back up and running soon; unfortunately this is out of my control. (Anyone familiar with such things who can suggest a good .NET/MSSQL hosting provider I could switch to, please feel free to offer suggestions.) Thank you for your patience; I will update here when I know more. ~Tracker-mun
