hi! starter call to kick this blog off? no cap!
i joke a lot about kanao being a little critter needing to be protected, but in all seriousness, i find it so sweet how protective she is of others. how truly caring she is, even early into the series when a lot of her emotions are still sort of locked away due to her trauma. she's indecisive and has a difficult time expressing her feelings in a way that people can generally understand, but the feelings are still there. that gentleness, that warmth, that desire to keep everyone safe. i think a lot of her behaviors are emulated from kanae and, after her passing, shinobu, like her constant smile, but the compassion she shows others is genuine. especially with the girls at the kocho estate, who she thinks of like little sisters, she's very gentle and attentive. she understands her own strength and capability and wants to use it to keep those who can't fight for themselves safe and happy.
reappears because i decided on a new name for gladion after she transitions. she is giselle now so please try to refer to that going forward!!
Is this blog still active?
hello. it was not, but i will be returning shortly.
inhales.
despite liking many things about strange new worlds ( primarily the cast itself and their love for it and their characters ), it truly speaks to how little the writers / producers either a) actually understand spock or b) respect him that in order to explore more 'human' aspects of him they decided the best and more logical way to do this was implement emotional ( and then actual ) infidelity. ' we were on a break ' ??? you really think one of the most rational people, from a culture that values logic and technicality, would equate to putting a pause on a marriage to suddenly not being in any relationship? hello? the two are not mutual exclusive. spock and christine had SUCH good interactions. i adored them! AND she was literally helping him be a better partner? christine is also, a girl's girl, okay. she would never. spock would never. why is it so hard to make mature storylines of developing or changing love happen without unnecessary love triangles and drama; and more importantly, character assassination for everyone involved??
i swear to God there's a full moon over my job or something because everyone is acting up over every little thing today
everytime i forget the email to this blog i feel like im experiencing a heart attack
sometimes i miss being in the anime fandom world but the only character i’d write is sesshōmaru and the fandom is . . . well. you know.
