Favorite thing about writing Bobby? Least favorite thing?

Hm. My favourite thing about writing Bobby is... well, where do I start? XD It’s amazing to get to write a muse with so much love in them. No matter what, the main thing for him is taking care of the people who matter and defending them from trouble where he can.

It’s either that or the sheer sass. The sass is delightful. XD

Least favourite? Maybe a lack of muses his own age. They’re all either younger hunters or angels. People like John Winchester, Ellen, Jody, Rufus... my boy rarely gets to interact with people in that age gorup. It’s all people he feels the need to either parent or fight.

//So, as some of you probably know, I’m gonna be meeting Jim Beaver in December and I am very excited about it because he is an awesome human being.

I’ve been working on a gift to give him since the end of June - a cushion, with some of Bobby’s more memorable quotes embroidered onto it by hand. Last night, I finally finished it!

As several people asked for pictures, I figured I might as well post them here. :D (Delays were due to my computer being a little ass and the forced Windows 10 update screwing over my wifi speed.)

Disclaimer: I am by no means a professional needlewoman of any description and this was a learning process as I’ve never used embroidery thread this thick before.

And this is the second, which is much more full because the quote in red was a last-minute addition; I found a con panel video in which Jim stated that it was his favourite line that he got to say in the show, so of course it had to go on here!

Weird little poll

//Soooooo I’m making a gift to give to Jim Beaver when I meet him in December (AAAAAAAAAAAAA <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3) and decided to hand-make him a little cushion with phrases of Bobby’s stitched all over it.

i already have “Idjits”, “Balls!” and “Family don’t end with blood”, but I’m just wondering what phrases of Bobby’s you all like best from the show, I’ll pick out the ones I love best and put them on the cushion too.

(No long speeches, please - the cushion isn’t going to be huge!)
