A slight tapping of Nor's hand against his hip as he walks, the Argonian glancing this way and that as he walks down the streets of Riften proper. He'd heard there was supposed to be another alchemy practitioner around here somewhere, and Nor has already exhausted his hunt for some good canis root at both Elgrim's and even Herluin down in the Flagon. It had been mentioned to him that this practitioner, a Khajiit, tended her own garden within the city. Nor could only hope said crop included some canis root, but if not then maybe she could tell him where he might be able to find some.

A tired grunt is the only noise that leaves Nor's lips as he enters through the inn's door, one hand reaching up to pull the slightly sodden hood from about his head. It seemed like the rain was just unending these last few days, and it certainly made traveling a bit more miserable. Truthfully, the Argonian would have liked nothing more than to shed the wet cloak and take a spot in front of the fire, but given the armor that was currently being covered by said cloak, it likely was not a good idea to get rid of it just yet.
So for now Nor will just have to settle for a seat close by the fire to warm his bones and dry his clothing, the Argonian snagging the closest chair next to the crackling embers. He'd catch the gaze of one of the servers the next time they passed through, and at least until then the bard was pleasant enough to listen to.

Nor lets out a tired sigh, casting his gaze about the forested area before glancing back down to the parchment currently clutched in his hands. The sketch of the plant on it certainly was a detailed one, and the Argonian had been told that it should have been plentiful and easy to find. He'd not been given a reason to think that one of his brothers had sent him on a wild goose chase, but at the rate that Nor was simply not finding this particular plant, well...
Another sigh leaves the Argonian's lips before the parchment is slipped back into his satchel, Nor pausing just a moment to adjust the cloak around his frame before he heads off deeper into the woods. Surely there had to be some somewhere.

With an idle glance here and there Nor steps through the gates and into Riften proper, the Argonian pulling his hood a little lower on his head against the sprinkle of rain passing through the area. It's not enough to really soak the Argonian or his cloak, but just enough where it's a slight annoyance. Though besides that, he doesn't want the bundle of papers he's currently carrying to get wet either. Would be quite poor form for a member of the Brotherhood to appear before Maven Black-Briar with a stack of damp letters, after all.
Still, the rain isn't quite so hard where he has worry about something like that, but it is enough to make Nor quicken his step lightly as he heads down the Riften streets towards his task.

Nor lets out a quiet sigh, briefly adjusting his cloak around his frame as he steps inside the gates of Understone Keep. Last thing he wants is his Brotherhood armor showing and sending the guards into fits. The Jarl's housecarl Faleen was paranoid enough already without him adding to it, and Nor highly doubted he would continued to be welcomed inside the walls of the city should his affiliations become known.
Not that the Argonian had any malevolent intentions on this particular occasion, oh no. Nor simply happened to be in the area, and figured he could stock up on some soul gems while he was here. Calcelmo always seemed to have a good stock of them, which is exactly why Nor is heading straight in that direction without delay.

It's an idle hum that leaves Nor's lips as he walks the path towards home, the Argonian very much looking forward to some rest and a warm spot by the fire after his long journey. His attentions, however, are slightly distracted from this line of thought by the sight of a figure further along the path, and only when he gets closer does he realize that he in fact recognizes the person.
"Oh? It is not often I see you outside of the Sanctuary, Keeper." Nor calls out, a slight tilt of the Argonian's head as he regards the other. "Anything you need assistance with?"
