MJF screaming his real self… then instantly regretting it.
MJF's biggest feud will always be with the audience. He'll always struggle with the fact that he'll never be "loved" the way other people like Ospreay and Hangman are loved.
"When you listed all of your accomplishments you sounded angry about it. All of that and you can't be happy".

If MJF put the same effort into wrestling and winning clean that he puts into cheating, he’d already be world champion. But he can’t… because deep down, he doesn’t believe he can win without shortcuts. He doesn’t cheat out of incapability, but out of insecurity.
MJF seeing Hangman as a “god” is so interesting. The main character vs the villain is one thing, but being called “a god” to the audience, the counterpart to his own “Devil,” elevates their feud to another level. The god, adored even in his flaws, vs the devil, condemned no matter what he does. A god who doubts if he deserves love, and a devil who would do anything to have it. That’s the core of MJF’s envy… not the championship, but the love that will never be his.
The funny thing is that MJF is just one step away from the AEW World Championship and he did not need the HS at all to accomplish that. He did that by himself. It’s almost like he just wanted friends…
