It's abysmal that people tried to paint the 4th Overlord, from Overlord II by Triumph Games as some sort of Abusive Dom because he has weird mind control lighning and bastards be Horny, when, like:

1) He's a literal Simp and Sugar Daddy to his Polycule of Wives, who do indeed start by hating the other two but progressivelly warm up to each other (Even if they still force you to "Pick Favorites" for The Sake of Gameplay), Wives of Dracula style. You literally have to dote on each of them via massive gifts and shit, and you get almost nothing in return except their happiness, one (1) sex scene per wife + foursome golden ending, and a mount buff on the last level.

2) They are literally called Mistresses.

3) Attempting phisical or emotional abuse on them will only cause them to beat the shit out of you, because fuck that.

4) Dude spent his entire puberty trapped in the underworld with the Browns and Gnarl, another major Simp and Masochisitic Sub, I would be amazed if he DIDN'T get pegged.

5) Rihanna Pratchett wrote this, would she really make the 4th overlord anything but a lovestruck sub? Get real.

6) You can easily change a letter in Witch Boy and you get some prime sub pet name if you ask me.

7) To assume any of the mistresses is a sub would be insane personality wise.

The 3rd Overlord was the corpse of a hero resurrected by ancient magics into becoming a Overlord. His friends and companions abandoned him to his death as he struck down the 2nd Overlord, and he has to face each of them as he witness the decadence they have fallen into after his death, each kill another dagger onto his back. He was strictly monogamous and loved his wife dearly, and ended up becoming a certified DILF (Devil I'd Like to Fuck).

The 4th Overlord was the 3rd Overlord's son. He was a traumatized, bullied Orphan, groomed into a life of anger and evil as his village rejected him and sent him to his death. He was raised by his own Minions, in a sheltered life in the Underworld, and is starved for affection. He will unquestioningly accept the love of most women he met, ending up in a polycule as a result, and tries really hard to be a Edgy Dom only for all his delusions to crash and burn as it's really evident dude is a Virgin Who Can't Drive. He's outnumbered, outexperienced, and outclassed by his mistresses, who he does love dearly, but is such a charge of repressed hormones and starved affection after years of puberty spent underground with Genderless Gremlin Monsters that he'd probably let anyone peg him so much they smoldered at him. Is a Simp into strong, dominant women or two strong, dominant women and one subby ghost if he's a asshole.

The 2nd Overlord was the 3rd Overlord Father-In-Law. He was a Dick and hated both of his sons in law and their friends. (To be fair, I'd hate Sir William too if he was courting my daughter, that incel, even if it was the Evil Femdom Coded one rather than the Good Vanilla One). Moving on.

The 1st Overlord was the direct Ancestor of the 2nd and 4th Overlord, the position being hereditary. He was Cinderella. Also, he was 16, youngest Overlord to date. No mistress has been ever revealed as of yet, but his deadbeat dad does get a new step mom in the end, so he might just be heirless. Or gay of course.

That being said, the 4th Overlord was a Simp.

Look, I'm not here to sing Overlord's 2 (By Triumph Games) high praise for the romance department, because while yes it's all heavily femdom coded the whole thing is still framed as a 1 on 3 Harem of Trophy Wives (Which works on Juno and maybe Ghost Fae yes but Kelda? DARK FAE???) whose personalities are highly archetypal ala Harem Anime (We have the Phisically Strong Childhood Best Friend, Wolf Coded, the Spoiled Rich Temptress, Spider Coded, and either the Chad Dominatrix Evil Faery Queen or the Virgin Sub Ghost Faery Queen, Salamander Coded), and still end with a pretty heteronormative foursome.

But still, The idea of the whole thing, however, has incredible potential if we slowly shift from all of that, give each mistress more of a role in the conquest, a more nuanced backstory and personality, and ALSO remove the coding and turn to outright femdom.

Kelda can become easily your huntress or general (mayve you get to decide what role each can do in the tower), Juno a spy mistress, or a poisoner, and so on, but if you let them laze around as they please they gain Higher Affection toward you and might depending on the character decide to do some pet projects instead.

Come on, it's a Hades and Persephone scenario, but Hades is on a 3 to 1 numerical disadvantage, and the 3 Persephones, after a rough start, end up liking each other AND shoulder the burden of rule with him (Unlike the unfortunate actual ending where Kelda is still pretty pissy over getting her role as Top Wolf challenged) and all that.

Maybe have each of them channel the spirit of the Queen of each mount? The 1st Overlord slew the Wolf Queen so Kelda is fixed from the start, then you, the 4th, kill Spider and Salamander Queens for the other two.

Maybe add a 4th mistress for the Blues. We have giant toads show up at sone point yet we never use them for the Blues? Why are the medics the only ones without mounts? Repurpose Ghost Fay for that, somehow? Split Persobalities maybe, ala Harley Quinn in Vampire the Masquerade, but the dying personality turns into a Ghost, That way you still have the "moral" choice?
