Ive always been jealous of people that can easily become close to other people

Sometimes I wonder what Randy was like before the ninja mask and I think we get a couple hints??

- In Shloomp! There It Is we hear Howard say “Cunningham’s back” which kind of implies that he used to be way more like NomiRandy before hs

- In Swampy Seconds we see Randy actively refuse the Nomicon in order to sneak into the swamp

- And when the main duo sneaks off to the high school in When Randy Met Howie, we see that Randy was the one to suggest it (at Howard’s hesitation, iirc)

Whenever Randy doesn’t have the Nomicon with him - either pre-canon or because he’s actively disobeying - it’s to do something fun (see: irresponsible and probably dangerous). What we see of him in the show makes him out to be a mostly sensible but easily swayed kid; whereas Howard is made to be the one that gets Randy into trouble. I won’t get too into Howard Meta because there’s so so much to say but my point is

I think Randy used to be a terrible little kid and was probably just as bad as Howard, if not worse

There’s so much pressure to win from P1. If he starts from P6, he can like...go feral without the pressure of people expecting him to win and also if he doesn’t I won’t feel gutted

Bonus: if he starts from P6 and gets on the podium, maybe he will jump in the harbour

I am not sure if I trust Ferrari to have good enough strategy to let him keep his place from P1

Also not sure if it’s better for him to have a car that’s like holding on together from a crash rather than a sturdy new gearbox that’s working at its best? I just want him to be in the best possible condition to do well in the race

IDK HE IS GIVING ME HOPE BUT MONACO IS SO UNPREDICTABLE. I DO NOT LIKE IT.

The more I think about it I dont think ive ever had anyone legitimately like me or love me and like that sucks and knowing that it makes sense why i push people away cause why bother staying if i think they dont like me in the first place?
