It's not your fault, tho! *hugs* Conflicts happen to everyone. People get sick, family members pass away, cars get in accidents, et cetera. In this case, I'm sure they'll understand no matter what, since this threw you for a loop too.

It's not, but I feel like I'm seriously letting the organiser down, especially since we planned for this for several months. I shouldn't feel at fault, and yet I do. Even if I don't go, I'm still keeping my requested day off. I deserve that much.

Well, I want to make responses for the thing from this morning, but I honestly can't form the concrete thoughts for it right now. I would like to say that I appreciate the positivity in regards to my thoughts, and that no one called me out for it. <3

I’m not altogether fazed when people tell me they don’t like the holidays - they tend to have very good reasons for it. That right there is truly heartbreaking, and ngl, I did start to cry reading that.

I think the reason it hurt me so much was because I was so invested in getting a 'Christmas Miracle'...that I was going to win one and achieve something worth lauding over for years to come...
