Setting: Prior to the departure to the Reach, Jin Renshu departed to oversee the opening of a new mine in the region of the mountain clans.

Upon his return, the knight of the Kingsguard made his way towards the council chambers to meet with his king, wasting no time to give his report of what he’d seen in the mine near Last Hearth. He had good news to give regarding the progress of it, but a most unexpected development gave him cause for worry. The very reason he was hasty in meeting with the Stark King.

“Your grace,” the YiTish soldier said as he was allowed into the chambers. The doors were closed behind him by the guards that were to stand watch outside. “I’m here to offer my report of the new mine,” he began, “And to let you know I’ve found something that is likely to become a problem, fast” Ren spoke in a serious tone, one that hinted at some uneasiness.

Closed starter for @owenstark Setting: Nobles from the other realms have come to Winterfell for the Games of the North. After the memorial has been held, the King in the North, his courtiers, and guests gather for the first feast.

After the many months of loss and hardship that had plagued the wintry kingdom of the Starks, having the games felt like a breath of fresh air. Things would never quite go back as they were, but continuing to live and honor that which they held dear before was a step forward. And so nobles from across the continent traveled to partake in the Northern Games, to feast and compete, to remember those who fell in the senseless war the Umbers brought to the kingdom of the North.

Anya was in good spirits, truth be told. She was eager to partake in the games and be a spectator as well. “I must admit I'm partial to the challenge of drunken poetry, your grace,” the raven-haired woman admitted to her king as they walked towards the feast hall where his guests had gathered. “I can admire feats of strength, but there's nothing quite like the reckless abandon of a man spinning words when he's in his cups”. It was too bloody amusing. It wasn't the sort of thing one saw in any competition or tourney anywhere else.
