1.17.19: week 1 of hilary term nearly complete! submitted my first paper this afternoon (on the first two books of the republic), and now moving on to the next one. felt quite homesick last week (and still kind of am), but as the week has progressed, i’ve finally started to settle into the rhythm of the term a bit more, which is really helping.

5.22.19, some favorites from a visit to the scottish national gallery in edinburgh today :-)

2.22.19: snapshots of a very challenging, yet rewarding week. i had a number of application deadlines this week (& for next week too!) along with two papers to write and many, many extracurricular activities scheduled, but i managed to submit everything on time & get a fair amount of sleep this week :-)

we just had our qualifying race for a regatta next week & sadly did not make it through, but we all rowed v well and I’m feeling really proud of my crew :’) my college is hosting a “champagne & chocolates” formal tonight (exactly what it sounds like), so i’m hoping to get a fair amount of work done before i go to my friend’s to get ready for the event!

1.23.19: ya girl just completed two papers in the space of 24 hours! in other news, it was a very exciting moment yesterday when we had our first UK snow of the year :-)

3.21.19: day one of firenze, italia! pictured above here is the florence cathedral, or the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, which we visited first thing this morning ☀️
