It might be my single favorite music track in any video game, and the soundtrack as a whole is probably the greatest video game ost as well.

Thank you! Happy Valentine’s Day to you, too! ❤
How’s new Mario game been? :O
It’s fun, but like a lot of the Wii U-to-Switch ports, it’s lacking a lot in new content.
I said the same thing about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but in all honesty, after this, Tropical Freeze, and Captain Toad, MK8 Deluxe seems like a massive expansion. But it’s understandable; the whole point of these ports is to salvage all the hard work that went into these games and expose a larger audience to them. The targeted audience is the people who didn’t own a Wii U.
As such, I definitely recommend it to anyone who didn’t play the original or never bought a Wii U! Otherwise, only for people who are big fans of Peach or Toadette, haha.
Oh yeah! With inside story I was pretty curious about the BJ story. :3c If I got the game it would be just for that part. That one’s better?
I meant there was a lot more changes in comparison! Buuuut it’s a full-on remake rather than a direct port, so that sorta goes without saying. It’s kinda hard to say which one’s a better game, since they’re such different genres.
The BIS remake fixes pretty much every issue I had with the original version, and the Jr side-story has lots of scenes involving the Koopalings as well as him (and more importantly, actual direct interactions between Jr and the Koopalings, something that only happened briefly in a few previous games). Very interesting stuff! I’m not sure it’s worth getting the game just for that (it IS a side mode and thus isn’t as long or content-filled as the main game), but the English cutscenes would be worth checking out after they’re all up.
