TRAVIS WALTON TALKS ABOUT HIS ENCOUNTER - At the 30th Ozark Mountain UFO Conference in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Famed UFO Abductee Travis Walton talks about the telephone booths in Heber, Arizona and the part they played in his celebrated Alien Encounter story. The subject of countless articles, books (including his own "The Walton Experience" from 1978), television interviews, documentaries, and feature films (such as the popular Paramount Pictures film "Fire in the Sky" from 1993), Travis Walton has not only been witness to much of UFO history, he has been a part of it - all stemming from an "electrifying" encounter with an unknown object in a desolate Arizona forest back in 1975. I had heard that Travis had a reputation for being an extremely nice guy who tells a very compelling story in a sincere manner - in this, Travis matched his reputation. Gracious fellow. He obviously knows his personal story better than anyone, but I was really impressed as to how knowledgeable he was about the entirety of UFO Discourse and History. His thoughtful knowledge surely stems from having been fully immersed in the subject for over forty years. No mere Mountain Man recounting an old, strange tale - Travis Walton truly knows the subject of which he speaks.
