The only things I can think of that are different about this situation from the ending scene are 1) Korra is reaching for Mako's hand, as opposed to Korra and Asami who reach at the same time 2) it's hetero

It'd be interesting to know why exactly

Edit: an anon pointed out that they'd have to awkwardly change positions due to them turning around in that scene.

I had to browse through 23 pages of likes to find the thing I wanted to use as a reference photo… which I had saved about 4 days ago… thank you, Korrasami. I don’t even visit the tag, it’s all from people I follow…

yep same - i gave up on trying to keep up with the tag at all once the finale aired and this is still the position i'm in ._.
