good morning, here’s your reminder that Momiplier consistently makes fanart of her own son and that is the kind of love all should seek.
hey you ever watch Unus Annus and think What The Fuck
There was – is – something so special, even magical, about Unus Annus. It’s only the MORNING following its “death,” and this has already been one of my most productive days in, well, years, having been buried beneath depression, anxiety, and my other “limitations.” I felt something I haven’t felt before yesterday/this morning, and it’s clung onto me like fuckin gorilla glue. I could barely sleep last night. I sat up staring into space for a long time, smiling, and not to be all poetic ‘n shit, but a single tear slipped down my face in the final seconds of this… strange, but somehow perfect year for such a creative, magnificent project.
The timing of Unus Annus for me in particular was uncanny, because I was – and still kinda am – dealing with exactly what they warned against: letting a single “tick, tock” be without meaning or have my full attention and appreciation. These past couple years have been a relentless Groundhog’s Day for me, and as the days melted to hours that turned to minutes and the minutes wilted to seconds and then finally reached 00:00:00:00, it hit me at its fullest: we are so temporary. Literally a microscopic speck in the unceasing white noise of time.
So now, I feel rushed, but in the best way possible. I want to do so much, be so much, feel so much, and I think UA reminded all of us that it is so important to do the same to be more than said “microscopic speck.” I’m gonna risk sounding super cheesy, but remember when Mark and Ethan sang “Space Is Cool” under the spectacle of Neowise? “There are billions and billions of stars,” and yet when we look up, we marvel over each and every one. Unus Annus taught me to see my every moment like that, and I know without a shadow of doubt, 4.5M others, too.
Mark, Ethan, and the whole crew, thank you. Our unus annus has passed, but “memento mori” stretches into infinity.
not to be controversial on main but I’d bring back eboy Mark if it meant one (1) more episode of Unus Annus.
good morning! remember to eat your breakfast, brush your teeth, and lament the world’s decay ever since E̸͈͔̻͇͊̇̔̕ͅ-B̶̧̟̰͕̅̒̒͝O̶̖̖̹̦̹͆̇̎͐̕Y̵̧̘̬͙̤̟̒͘͠ ̴̡͔͍̪̯̪̋̀M̵̗̜̄̇͠A̶͇̮̓͛͛̀̃R̵͇̐̌K̴̡̠͖̥̞̈ breached Hell. :^)
the fucking head plush just casually chillin’ in this video gives me the same subtle creep vibes as the UA gargoyle.
i feel like the recent unus annus uploads of all these deep talks ‘n shit is basically the same as two high-as-fuck bros sharing a joint and staring into knowledge the likes we normal folk could never understand.
