Life’s Twist | Dex & Chloe
There were times when Chloe questioned why she was the way she was, this was one of those times, but at the same time she couldn’t imagine being anyone else. Over the last six months and knowing Laurel, Chloe had more than come to terms with who she was and what she deserved. No more settling for this former socialite, she deserved someone that accepted her for being her and accepted the fact she was a mother. Now all she had to do was stop sleeping with the wrong guys and start sleeping or seeing the right guys. That was the challenge.
Clocking out of the store, Chloe slipped into the bathroom and freshened up a bit, giving herself a once over and fluffing her hair before heading out to the bar she was supposed to meet Dex at. Heels of her boots clicking on the ground as she walked with a certain air of confidence surrounding her before pushing open the door to the bar and stepping in, waving to the tender. Yeah, she’s been here once or twice. Or twelve. She’d honestly lost count by this time. Taking a spot at the bar near the back, she ordered a water as she waited for Dex to show up, checking her phone to see what time it was. Well, she’d gotten there a little early, for once, she was on time.
