Don’t Make Promises with Strangers

Wonho looked down at his plate dejectedly. Wasn’t this restaurant supposed to be the new trendy spot? Then why did his pasta look more like an unidentifiable mush? Just how long had these noodles been cooked for, a week? How do you even cook noodles so long they turn out like this? A quick glance around at the other diners revealed pretty much all of the food was overcooked.
Wonho glanced around once more, to make sure no one was looking at him. He had to eat this, he didn’t have the time or money to go somewhere else to eat. He sighed slightly as he concentrated. He had to eat it, true, but he could make it look and taste more appealing at least. He waved his hand slightly over the food, a completely unnecessary gesture, but he found it increased his concentration if he pretended to be a magician or something. The glamour covered the food quickly, presenting a more appetizing looking dish. Wonho picked up his fork and shoved a bit of it into his mouth with a grimace. It may look and taste ok, but that didn’t change the fact that he knew it wasn’t. But his poor empty stomach forced him to continue to eat.
