Ayana took a small sip of wine. Usually she loved wine, but right now it put a sour taste in her mouth. Her dinner with her betrothed's family was coming to an end. The whole time she could feel the Prince Aerys' disapproval through the whole dinner. His glare pierced through his occasional glances. Ayana was mostly sure that she hadn't done anything wrong, but she couldn't be sure. These were Targaryens, they had eyes everywhere.
"I believe I shall take my leave," she said as the dinner was pronounced over. Taking a last sip of wine, she nodded politely at each member of the family. She stood up, curtsied, and started towards her chambers.
