Silly Love Songs || Augusten x Lyra

Augusten was rather pleased with the way his evening panned out. When he'd spotted the seemingly abandoned iphone on the carpet in the hallway of his new apartment building, never would he have suspected that it would lead him to somebody like Lyra. She was gorgeous, funny, insightful and apparently a real brain too, he was wildly impressed upon discovering that she was a biotechnology major; whatever that meant.

She had followed him up to his apartment in comfortable silence and he shouldered open the front door casually "Home, sweet, home" he announced, it wasn't particularly glamorous but it served its' purpose well. "Not sure if my roomie is around" he said, peering at Roman's closed door. He flicked his head "We can hang out in my room, just over there" he said, pointing toward his bedroom; an array of records in shelves, two guitars- electric and acoustic, scattered band posters both old and new, a comfortable couch, a little worn but still in service and of course, Augie's infamous bed with the floral sheets he had inherited from an old lady who had once inhabited an old apartment of his.

"I'll grab some beers, make yourself at home" he suggested politely. "Do you like beer?" he added, raising his eyebrows, he wasn't sure that he had much else to offer unless they cracked open a bottle of tequila or vodka.

The Hungarian Adventures of Lyra and Roxy

The Knight Bus finally jerked to a stop in the middle of an empty field, throwing Roxy against the window. "A little warning would've been nice!" She yelled to the uninterested driver whilst rubbing the side of her head. It wasn't a surprise when the shrunken head hanging from the mirror replied instead.

"It's numba' five on the sign, mun!" She turned to the right and it was indeed number five on a large tin sheet nailed to the wall. Rolling her eyes, she went on a hunt for her bag that had gotten lost during one of the jolts. She crawled under the feet of sleeping men and got some gum stuck in her shoes before she finally found it jammed into a corner. "There you are," she mumbled to herself and slung it over her shoulder.

"Ready?" She grinned at her fellow runaway, ready to discover Hungary for a few days. Together, they climbed out of bus and were immediately greeted with the view of rolling green hills. Roxy wordlessly pulled out the map Charlie sent to her and began examining it. "Wait, this is still six miles awa--Oi! Come back here!" She watched hopelessly as their only form of transportation sped off down the barren dirt road, leaving them stranded and nowhere near their destination. "Fan-freaking-tastic."
