Dinner Bell ➜ Andre & Morgan
One of the things Morgan missed the most was going out to eat. She hadn’t realized how much of a hobby it was for her until the virus took it away. Every now and then she felt like moaning about how much she missed being outside, but she also took the safety precautions her and Dan had established for the household very seriously. That meant no going out at all for her. It sucked, so she had to find new ways to interact with others or she was sure she’d die of boredom.
As the delivery guy rang the bell of her apartment, she leapt off her couch with a delighted grin. She had ordered enough food for Dan to have the leftovers once she came home from work, so so she was free to try as much as she wanted, which was the point anyway. She disposed of the bags left by the delivery guy in her entrance, only bringing the food containers to the kitchen. Closing the door with her hips, she made sure not to touch anything until she had her hand sanitizer near.
Once she felt clean enough, she set everything on her coffee table and she picked up her phone to open Facetime, her thumb pressed on Andre’s ID to start a videocall. She skipped to the kitchen in search of something to drink in the meantime. Once she found it, she took a big gulp of her white wine, moving back to the table while she waited for him to pick up.
