At the request of Harley, Aria pays Brooke a visit...
Aria leaned against the brick wall of Harbor Fall's only bar. The cool night air surrounded her, the temperature drop courtesy of the rain. Rolling her eyes slightly, Aria now understood where this shitty weather came from. A cigarette was placed lazily between her lips, she took a long inhale from it, pulling it away from her lips as she took another look around. Aria was not in the mood for this. For any of this. But her latest anxiety was crippling her and if she was going to get her mojo back somehow, a fellow Amet was the safest bet. Plus, Kit Stone was somehow growing on her. The sound of the bar door opening caught her attention and a small smile appeared on her lips. Throwing her cigarette to the ground, she crushed it under her heel, and turned the corner slowly as the brunette appeared in front of her. "Brooke Vega...right?"
Brooke needed a drink. As always. The small bar was pathetic, but any place that served alcohol was okay in her book. Creepy bartenders aside. Though, walking through the threshold and hearing her name come from a familiar face wasn't exactly what she expected. Brooke heard stories about the infamous Aria Fleming and would know her anywhere. But, Brooke was sure she didn't need an ego boost. Using the conversation Brooke had with Arias twin sister, she said, "That's me. Aren't you that bubbley girl who was obsessed with my jacket?"
Aria 's smile turned to a scowl quickly as she clearly mentioned Charlie and she rolled her eyes. "I believe I was the one that was asking the questions." With the help of her power, she turned back around the corner and pulled the girl with her. Out of the view of any of the humans and the front of the bar, she marched up to the brunette and grabbed her throat. Shoving her against the brick wall, she tightened her grip and tilted her head a little. "A little birdy told me you're going around poisoning people. I used to take out reckless Amets like you, because that's a problem." Glaring, she released her grip and turned on her heel, keeping her back to the girl. "I have very little patience right now and the fact I haven't snapped your spine yet, proves I'm being kind. Now, you can walk away like a good little girl and keep your hands to yourself or I can shatter your knees and you can sleep in this alley." Aria turned to meet the brunette's eyes. "What's it going to be?"
Brooke laughed through the pain of Aria's tightening grip around her neck. Someone tattled to Mommy Badass, it seemed. Kit wouldn't, she knew, but Harley, gentleman Harley, definitely would. "You know, I never pegged you for a girl who takes orders from men 400 years her junior," she said after her throat was released from the brunette's death grip. "What'd he offer you?" she asked, ignoring the scowl she received last time she asked her something. Brooke pushed past the woman, lightly touching her hand to Aria's shoulder, using her power against her. She didn't poison her that much, but, like Kit, Aria wouldn't be happy with her. "You win," she said over her shoulder. "No more poison. Starting now." With Nathan so close, the pain in her neck didn't subside and she would bruise. But, it was nothing she couldn't handle. "I guess I'll be seeing you around Char--sorry. Aria."
Aria glared at Brooke, crossing her arms. Silently listening to her ramble, it was after her fingers brushed over her shoulder that she snapped. Aria wasn't an idiot and with Carter in town, a numbing sensation was already spreading through her arm. "Wrong. I don't take orders. I collect allies." Grabbing the girl's wrist before she could go any further, she pulled her back towards her. "I also don't take well to stupidity." Twisting the girls arm, while also adding pressure with her power, she felt her wrist bones shift and crack under her grip. Leaning towards her ear, she whispered her threat. "Fucking touch me again and I'll bury you alive." Shoving the brunette forward with force, the sound of Brooke's skull connecting with the brick wall was the sound she was waiting for. Smiling, Aria released her grip on the Amet in front of her, watching her slump to the ground immediately. "Sweet dreams, cupcake." Turning, Aria didn't give Brooke another glance as she rounded the corner, and headed home.
Brooke wasn't exactly surprised when Aria grabbed her wrist, but when a shooting pain went through her arm, she couldn't help but let out a scream. In an unbearable amount of pain, the words Aria said to her went in one ear and out the other. All she could focus on was her arm until everything went black.
